Stay in a piece of Bandon history! Mere steps from the beach, the 1930’s era Barton Cabin has been recently remodeled, featuring all-new modern amenities while maintaining its original rustic feel. Everything about the cabin is cozy, with one bedroom and bath upstairs (including a queen bed and compact washer and dryer) and one tiny bedroom downstairs (also with a queen bed) along with a second bath and fully equipped kitchen. Located 3/4 of the way down the bluff, it’s sixty stair-steps from the parking area to the cabin, but it’s worth the walk: the cabin has private beach access a few more steps further down, shared only with one set of neighbors. The views from inside and out are as good as any beach views in Oregon; sit on the couch or deck and watch the surf crash into rock formations from Face Rock to Elephant Rock. The neighborhood is friendly and walkable. Lord Bennett’s restaurant is practically across the street, and the shops and restaurants of Bandon are all only a mile away.

Up until 2019 we have been renting it to friends and family, but it is now time to share this secret with others, and we are looking forward to host you during your next Bandon stay.brThe beauty of Face Rock is breathtaking and there are no words to describe how relaxing it is to be able to look right at it from the comfort of your home. The house is located about 2 mins from the Scenic View Point, were you can also access the beach.brOur house is modern and was designed with an open concept, so that the view can be enjoyed from all the shared spaces whether you’re eating, cooking, or watching TV. We made sure to add lots of windows so that the house is bright and refreshing. The flooring is wood in the common areas and carpet in the bedrooms, we like to take our shoes off when we come in to help keep them clean and we ask that you do the same.brWe have a foosball table in the living area. In the front, we have a courtyard with a fireplace. It’s a great spot to warm up on a chilly night, or even better, make some smores!brThis is a 4 bedroom 2.5 bathroom home designed to comfortably fit 8 people (7 adults) total max! There is high speed WiFi as well as a flat screen TVs. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you need to cook. Great views with lots of bedrooms (5 plus loft) make this a great vacation home. It is quite easy access for those who don't want to do a lot of stairs, only requiring a few to get into the house, then it is all but the loft on the same level. Enjoy wonderful ocean views from the living, kitchen, dining, loft, deck and master bedroom.brbrHouse layout:brbrThe front door leads stright through to the living /dining area, or left to the kitchen, all of which have wonderful views. There is a large screen smart TV. The kitchen is open to the other living areas, and a deck is just off the dining room. Above the living area is a sleeping loft with 2 twin beds. Off the living area is a queen bedroom, with a bathroom that is also shared by the living spaces.brbrDown the hall is another queen bedroom, which shares a Jack and Jill bathroom with the large master bedroom with a king bed.brbrOff the hallway and past the laundry room is a small family room with another TV. from there you can access another full bath and two more queen bedrooms. The family room has a fold down Eurostyle sleeper.There is a separate entrance to the family room area as well, and a peekaboo view of the ocean.brbrOur private beach access is just down a path then a sandy hill. Public beach access is about 1/2 mile away. Sometimes there is no creek directly in front of our access, and sometimes there is, based on winter storms. The creek is usually shallow in the summer, and a great place for kids to play farther away from the bigger surf.brbrIt's a very quiet area, with lovely views. You will need a car, and there is plenty of parking available.brbrMinimum rental age is 25 years old.brbrIt's a short drive to Old Town's shops and restaurants, and about 4 miles south to Bandon Crossings' great golf or 20 minutes north to Bandon Dunes Golf Resort.brbrBandon, Oregon is a wonderful coastal retreat, with quaint shops and restaurants, a crabbing and fishing dock, and charter fishing. It has miles of lovely beaches, tide pools, wildlife, and pounding surf. There's lots to do: horseback riding on the beach, flying kites, kayaking through the Bandon Marsh, fishing for salmon in Coquille River, exploring the Sand Dune National Recreation Area (about a half hour drive), or serving as a base for day trips, such as south to the Redwoods National Park in northern California.brbrGOLF:brbrSome land is meant for Golf.
