Located just minutes to downtown Weaverville and their great restaurants, breweries and amenities. Only 15 minutes to Asheville as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway. We are situated in a friendly and quiet cul de sac, walking distance to Reems Creek Golf Course and nature trails with stunning views.brbrThis home is spacious with a large primary bedroom with a king bed as well as a secondary bedroom with a queen bed in it. In addition, there is a day bed in the living room, so the home can sleep 5 comfortably. brbrThere is an additional screened in patio with a foosball table as well as a full kitchen with both a small eating area as well as an extra dining room area.brbrPlease note that this is property has a separate apartment downstairs where my co-host resides. There is a stairwell with a locked door separating the two units.brbrThe entire upstairs of the house if available to you with the exception of one storage room, which will be marked/locked.brbrWe do have tenants/care takers who live in the downstairs apartment so we ask you to be respectful of their privacy. Please do not go down there or use their downstairs patio or fire pit. We also ask that you try to walk quietly upstairs as sound travels. Ideally, please remove your shoes upon entering. brbrYou are welcome to walk around our yard, our gardens and use the play set. You are also welcome to go through the fenced gate and walk in the open space behind our property.brbrThere is a friendly dog named Pepper, who lives in the downstairs apartment. You may hear her bark at times but not continually. She just likes to say hello. She may also approach you on the grounds or show up outside your back door. You are welcome to greet her if you like, she is a darling and not aggressive at all.

Ivy Creek Hideaway offers a true feeling of seclusion, yet is only minutes away from all modern conveniences. The property has 1 gig fiber internet, so the entire family can stream at the same time if needed. This classic log cabin is the perfect place to relax and gather with family and friends when you are not out experiencing the countless attractions in the area.brbrThe cabin is the perfect balance between classic mountain cabin architecture and modern comforts and conveniences. The first level includes a main living area, kitchen, bathroom and sunroom. The main living area includes a dining area, sitting area and living room that includes a 65 TV and an assortment of games, books, puzzles and toys. The living room couch features a full size pull out bed. The sunroom can function as an additional living space or a bedroom with a king bed or two twin beds. The sunroom has a 55 TV and a desk for working or schooling. Both TVs are setup with Netflix and Disney+.brbrThe second level includes two bedrooms and a bathroom. The family suite bedroom upstairs includes a king bed and two built in twin beds. These twin beds are slightly shorter and narrower than a standard twin bed to fit in the space. The second bedroom upstairs includes a king bed. This is an older cabin and some sound travels between the main living area on the main level and the bedrooms upstairs.brbrOutside is a covered porch that sits just a few feet from the stream. The stream provides a pleasant sound as you relax outside. When it's time for dinner a large 5 burner propane grill is available on the expansive patio just off the porch. The 10 foot picnic table easily accommodates everyone in the group. The backyard features a firepit circled by Adirondack chairs. The mini log cabin nearby provides a fun place for kids to explore and play.brbrA fully covered and illuminated outdoor game area with ping pong, foosball and cornhole provides entertainment day and night. Or relax in one of the hanging hammock chairs as you listen to the stream flow by a few feet away.brbrHeat is provided via two kerosene heaters that provide ample heat for the entire cabin. Each can be set to a desired temperature and they will maintain that temperature. The exhaust for these heaters is out the wall on the back side of the house and the porch on the front. While enjoying the front porch, the heater can be easily turned off to avoid exhaust. A wood burning fireplace in the living room provides great ambiance and additional heat.brbrDuring the warmer months window air conditioner units are placed in the main living area, sun room and family suite bedroom. These are newer and can be set to a desired temperature and they will maintain that temperature. They are very effective at keeping the cabin comfortable.brbrA high quality BOB stroller and Kelty child carrier are available for use during your stay. A Pack 'n Play is also provided.brbrA year round stream runs just a few feet from the front of the cabin. The property is very private and quiet. Typically the only sound that can be heard is the stream flowing by. No neighboring homes can be seen from the cabin. The road for the neighborhood runs along the southeast side of the property. Only three other homes are past this property on that road, so the road is very rarely used.brbrAccess to the property is extremely easy. The home is located 1/4 mile off of the 4 lane Hwy 25/70 on a paved, relatively flat, state maintained street. Even with inclimate weather (which is rare), access to the properly is not a problem.brbrIf a rideshare like Uber or Lyft is preferred, the typical cost for a ride to/from Asheville is $20.

The Coach House is the most easily accessible home (year-around), on the property without need of a four-wheel drive vehicle. It has a private entrance and it completely private from the upstairs or suit unit next door. The Creekside Unit which is a Suite to this Unit has its own private entrance, with a lockable door between units.. On the upper floor is the private 2-bedroom, 2 bath home, which comfortably accommodates 6 guests, or you are invited to rent both for a total of 8 guests, if available, with family or friends. The one bedroom is approximately 700 square feet of living space, and the upper two-bedroom is approximately 800 square feet of living space, and each has its own fully supplied kitchens; just bring your own food. The Coach House is within sight and sound of beautiful Ox Creek. You will enjoy the ambiance of this lovely stream and surrounding forests with all of its seasonal flowers and year-round bird life. Grill and eat out on your private deck or at the picnic table along-side the picturesque Ox Creek, just outside your doorstep. There is an HD-TV and free Wi-Fi in each home.
