Log Cabin with Stream on 2 Acres <20 Min to Downtown Asheville with 1 Gig Fiber

The cabin and surrounding area outside are perfect for families. My grandchildren loved playing in the playhouse, running around on the spacious property, crossing the bridge over the little stream, and using the outside game area. The cabin was well equipped, clean, and comfy. The only drawback was the stair railing which was only on one side and a bit precarious for older people. Overall, the cabin and grounds were wonderful!

The property was perfect for our family of four. We loved the rustic cabin feel and the creek in the yard just increased the charm of the property. Great location to downtown Asheville (15-20min drive). The host was very communicative and the welcome basket was a very nice touch upon arrival!

We had an amazing stay this past weekend. The cottage exceeded our expectations & the host was very responsive. The location was great too. 20 minutes to downtown and easy to access from main roads. 10/10 would recommend for a cozy getaway.

The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking with everything we needed from oil to spices. The only thing I would encourage the host to add as a staple is coffee. After a 9.5 hour drive it would have been nice to not have to worry about coffee for the next morning. They did have everything you would need to make coffee, just not coffee itself. Outside of that they had everything!

The house was very quiet and secluded. Perfect!

We loved everything about this cabin! So comfy, we loved the fire bowl area and ping pong table! Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We’ve stayed here two years in a row and would absolutely come back! The location is perfect for those wanting to enjoy Asheville and all the surrounding nature. Rentals can feel sterile and not very homey, but Ivy Streams is the opposite of that- so much charm, comfort, and it has a kitchen you can actually cook in! Highly recommend this place for family or friend getaways.

BEAUTIFUL location inside and out. Hosts thought of EVERYTHING to make the stay comfortable. The house and the instruction book was oozing with radical hospitality. We felt like VIP guests and appreciated all the little touches. Will definitely try and stay here again!

This cabin was so wonderfully excellent. The two-story, 2bdrm, 2 btrm, with Living Room, Dining Room, sitting area. kitchen, and sunroom downstairs and bedrooms upstairs, is extremely cute, cozy, clean and spaciously laid out. The bedding linens, towels, and snacks provided were excellent. Laundry facilities were great. The 3 and 7 year old girls loved the toys that are provided and planty of places to play. Heating for the cabin was perfectly comfortable. The storage house with ping pong and foozeball tables were in perfect condition and enjoyable. The little log cabin playhouse was fun for the kids as well and the firepit with chairs area was nice, although we didn't use it. The front porch is large and has a nice view of the creek and woodsy area. The creek was beautiful and we had fun exploring the trails behind the house and the little bridge across the creek. Access to the house was easy and safe from the neighborhood street and the location is just outside of Weaverville to be rural/woodsy, but only 10 minutes to grocery stores, shopping, quaint downtown with cool restaurants and shops. Weaverville was perfect for a short ride over to Asheville and to Wolf Ridge where we visited the ski resort and snow tubing park. Light snow on the last night made it very exciting for the kids the following morning, as they had never seen snow before. We would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend this wonderful cabin to anyone visiting the greater Asheville area.

We had the BEST time and will be back to this beautiful cabin in the woods!! The property is gorgeous, there's a babbling brook right out the front door! Well deserved 5 Stars!!! !!!!! Bedroom #1 w the kids hideaway beds are super cute! My wife and I and our two kids stayed in this room and it was perfect!! The kids LOVED that they had their own little nook and the beds were plenty large enough. Our kids are 4 & 7. But our 13 year old cousins wish they could have slept here because it is so cool! The beds have a curtain that makes it feel extra fort-like!!! The curtains navy and gold look like a night sky...so cool King Bed! Other bedroom was perfect , w a nice king bed. All the beds and sofa are very comfortable! Sheets and towels and the entire property seemed very clean & well kept. There was nothing that we needed that wasn't provided! The downstairs room w two twin beds was perfect for our 13 year old cousins, and a nice private space away from the other two rooms. This room would also suite two adults that like each other just fine. The two bathrooms were very clean and spacious w all essentials provided. The living room seats about a dozen people - very nice furniture, very mountain cozy feel. Very comfy. Huge TV!! Kitchen is big and very well equipped! I came here with my two young sons to escape the FL heat. The cabin was a great layout, had all the essentials and definitely upgraded personal care products from what I’ve had at other places. The interior is definitely high end concerning furnishings and the overall build inside. Outside is perfectly rustic with many places to explore/play for young children. I loved being less than 10 minutes from Publix and a quick drive to downtown Asheville. Highly recommend!
