In the living room you'll find a real wood burning fireplace as the main attraction and a 60 TV with surround sound. The first bedroom in the main level has a king size bed, dresser and night stand. The second bedroom room has a queen bed, and a chest of drawers.brbrIn the finished walk out basement there is a day bed with trundle that also sleeps 2 with a full bathroom. The laundry room is located in the basement as well with top of the line washer and dryer. You’ll also find the game room with a dart board, a foosball table, ping pong table, and the peloton bike on the basement level. The different games will supply your family with hours of entertainment. Next to the play room there is a bistro table that seats four, a large TV, and a bar. This area is perfect for adults to disconnect from it all and have a good time with family and friends. Once you step out of the basement we added a deck and large hot tub on the ground level. br brThe main bedroom/bathroom suite and loft are located on the 3rd level of the home. The main bedroom has a 42 flat screen TV and a king size bed. The bathroom has a claw foot tub, his and her sinks, and a shower with 2 shower heads. One shower head comes from the ceiling like a mountain rain shower. The loft has a mission style desk with two large computer screens, high speed WiFi available, and a convertible twin sleeper. All linens are supplied and are all bleached and sanitized after every renter! brbrCome and enjoy everything that our area has to offer. We have all 4 seasons!! In the spring come and bike Railroad Grade (~1.5 mile away) , canoe (New River ~1.5 mile away), hike, cave, zipline, and do white water rafting. In the summer come and drift down our river with inner tubes . In the Fall come see our spectacular Fall colors. In the winter you'll enjoy all the winter sports, such as skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, ice skating and snow shoeing in any of the four local ski resorts that are near by. Nicely landscaped walkways take you to fire ring below.brbrThe cabin is located in Todd, NC. Public access to the New River for tubing and fly fishing is just minutes away in the quaint village. Paddle a kayak down its meandering, slow but sure, course is certain to suggest some sense of a simpler time, childhood magic, and a “what life is all about” sigh of relief.brbrThis beautiful log cabin on over an acre of flat land also has a mountain view which, to have both the river and a view, is an exceptional event! This three bedroom home offers comfort and quality in the whole house. With hardwood floors throughout, lots of windows for view, gas fireplace, and a spacious kitchen and living room for relaxing, playing, or cooking, it is a great family home and the owners just added a 55 flat screen tv with blu-ray dvd for your added fun. The great room is large with cathedral ceilings and lots of wood, a stone fireplace that is 20 ft tall, granite countertops and pine cabinets and everything you need to cook a gourmet dinner except for food. Grill out and dine on the covered deck while gazing at the river and surrounding hills.brbrThe master bedroom has its own large bath and its own private porch so you can stroll out with your morning coffee and watch the mist rise from the fields or the deer playing in the nearby hills. The King bed in the master has a pillow top luxury mattress for a great night's sleep. Sleep with the windows open in this peaceful and quiet area where the morning birds are the only noise. The cool summer nights, averaging in the 60 degree range, make for some great snuggling under the lovely mountain quilts. The upstairs loft opens out onto another covered porch with a small breakfast table for morning solitude or meditation. With little light pollution, the Milky Way is fantastic! Roast marshmallows or make your S'mores, and the knee deep river is also great to wade in and definitely safe for children.brbrThe Railroad Grade Road is a historic track of the old Virginia Creeker Railroad that started in 1917. It is now a popular place to ride or walk along the road that follows the banks of the river where cyclist, even the novice rider, can ride for miles and miles with incredible scenery and peace on a flat ten-mile trek. Take a picnic or stop at the historic Todd General Store and have a lovely lunch and stroll through the old railroad town with its tin sided buildings.brbrThis house is only 11 miles to Boone with all its tourist attractions and fun things to do. It is very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, about 20 minutes to Appalachian Ski Mt or Blowing Rock. However, there is so much to enjoy and do at this house; you may not want to even leave. Just a short ways down the road you can find a place to rent more tubes, kayaks, canoes, bikes, & fishing equipment or take day excursions. We also offer several bikes to ride on the Railroad Grade Road. 10 miles of flat, paved road that runs along the banks of the river offering hours of bike riding fun. The front porch that runs along the entire front of the house is a wonderful place to relax in a rocker or the porch swing as you sip on your morning coffee. It also offers a peaceful, pastoral/mountain view & you can enjoy watching early morning cyclists & runners passing by. We include photos of the view of the other properties in each listing so that guests have a good sense of the visibility/seclusion. Also to note, the Tiny Bunker is located in close proximity to NC 194, a lightly traveled paved road with occasional traffic. Guest should be aware that they will hear the occasional car pass by. brbr brbr brbrACCESSIBILITY: To reach the Tiny Bunker, you must drive up a 150 winding gravel driveway to your tiny destination.
