There is also an additional private entrance from the outside. brThe Sugar Mountain Golf course was voted the #2 executive (par 64) in the US. The condo is located on the 4th hole, rated the most difficult because of the challenging slope leading up to the green. You can spend an afternoon on the porch watching golfers struggle to hit the green without rolling back down the hill, or hitting a putt too hard and seeing it roll off the green and down the slope. In the winter time it is a short walk to the ski lodge.brThere is a covered sitting area across the parking lot perfect for grilling out or sitting by the fire pit. There are several short hikes within walking distance, and it is a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock.
