The conveniet location at the base of the mountain features beautiful views of Grandfather Mountain in the winter and is a short walk to the ski slopes, golf and tennis facilities. In winter the town offers a free shuttle service.

Stayed Dec 26, 2025Highly recommended property for a ski vacation at Sugar Mountain! Walking distance to the ski slopes and close drive to grocery stores, restaurants, ski equipment rental stores and other places of interest like Grandfather Mt, Blue Ridge Prkwy and multiple mountain hikes. Property included propane bbq, firepit outside and gas fireplace inside, nice hot water for showers. The downstairs living space accomodated our children beautifully and gave them their own hangout complete with their own sitting area and tv.Host was easy to reach and responded promptly, and was very helpful. We visited in winter but the golf course looked like it would be a lovely course to play in warmer months. The golf course did provide exceptional shedding hills for the snow days! Would absolutely book this property again.

Stayed Feb 13, 2025Host was kind and easy to deal with. Condo was comfortable and plenty of room to spread out. We were able to walk to the slopes! We really enjoyed the gas fire place as well.

Stayed Jan 17, 2025We absolutely loved this condo! It was so clean, close to everything, had all we needed and more. The back deck was perfect for watching snow falling and birds come to the feeders. The kitchen set up has literally everything and we liked the barstools at kitchen island for casual and fun meals together. The owners are also very kind and easy to reach! We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Jul 10, 2024Great stay! Beautiful clean accommodation with great ammenities. The four of us enjoyed the condo. We only used the 2 top floor bedrooms. Great location for our Highland Games weekend.
