They have live music nightly and a restaurant in the summer along with a great sunset view. There are a few other local restaurants within walking/biking distance and all locally run. Hatteras Lighthouse is a 30 minute drive away and the Bodie Lighthouse is 20 minutes away. You can ride horses on the beach in Buxton only 30 minutes away or you can get a surf lesson by your host, Jeremy, with given notice before your stay.brbrbrbrGetting Around:brbrThere is a bike path nearby that runs the length of the tri-village (about 8 miles)...the taxi service is Island Hopper and there are a few Uber drivers around.brbrbrbrOther Things to Note:brbrLike Nicholas Sparks The Serendipity house from the book/movie Nights in Rodanthe is directly across the street! We do have a luggage lift to bring all your stuff up. brbrRodanthe is surrounded by the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. It is considered by many to be a premier vacation destination with its incredible recreational options. Known for its Fishing, Kayaking, Windsurfing, Surfing, Surf-Fishing or Deep-Sea fishing, it also offers one of the quieter beach destinations, as Rodanthe is a much smaller town than the area around the northern beaches. The beach is just a short walk away down a private boardwalk, about a 2-3 minute walk at most. brbrThere is a boardwalk to the pool and over the dune to the beach. We are within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the Rodanthe Pier. Send us an email and let us know the dates that interest you. brbrPHOTOS - Please note that the photos are of a generic unit and may not match exactly with your timeshare. brbrPOOL - For 2026, the pool should be open from May 16 through October 18. You can purchase trip insurance that provides reimbursement if you can't make your trip. Our refund policy is 97% if cancellation is received before 60 days out, and 50% if received more than 30-59 days out. The 97% is because the credit card company does not refund the credit card fee. It is not uncommon to have a mandatory evacuation from the coastal areas during Hurricane Season and it seems to happen at least once every few years. You will not receive any reimbursement unless you have purchased travel insurance, which is available during initial booking. In the event of a hurricane, please bring the outdoor furniture into the living room, close and lock all doors and windows, then depart ASAP. If you will need housing, call and make reservations at another hotel out of the evacuation area immediately, before or while leaving, because all regional hotels fill rapidly during evacuations. Under no circumstances may you stay in the unit during a mandatory evacuation. brbrSECURITY DEPOSIT: A $300 security deposit hold will be placed on the credit card just prior to your visit.
