Each bedroom has its own television.brbrOur kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and utensils where you can make your favorite meals. We have two coffee makers, a traditional and Keurig. We have a one-of -a -kind dining room table that seats four, plus seating for two at the bar.brbrWe provide a washer and dryer in the unit. To make your vacation more enjoyable, we provide all of your bedding and bath linens. We do not make up the bed, but all of your clean sheets are there for you. That way you know your sheets are clean and fresh for you. All we ask is that you wash them and throw them in the dryer before you leave. We also provide a starter bag with toilet paper, dish and laundry soap, and a few other items to get you started on the right track. On the front deck we also provide some basic beach gear such as chairs, boogie board, and sand toys for the kids.brbrOur deck has fantastic views of the ocean and pool area. The Cape Hatteras National Seashore continually makes the top ten beaches in the United States.brbrSurfing and Kite Boarding...brbrRodanthe is the east coast surfing and kite boarding capital. You can easily watch the surfers from our deck. If you like kite boarding, you have arrived. The Pamlico Sound is a great spot to board, or even in the ocean if you're an expert. Hatteras Island is a barrier island off the coast of North Carolina which makes our island a narrow one. You can see the Pamlico Sound from our deck and take in a sunset. brbrHistory....brbrIf you're a history buff, you will certainly enjoy your visit here. Our coast is called the Graveyard of the Atlantic because of the numerous shipwrecks over the years. The coast is difficult to navigate, therefore, the first coast guard station is located right down the road from us..Chicamacomico Lifesaving Station. You can also drive 30 minutes south on Route 12 to the village of Buxton and climb the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. The outer banks has several lighthouses to visit. There is a museum on shipwrecks and pirates (Blackbeard) in Hatteras village. There are many artifacts in the outer banks from shipwrecks. The outer banks is also well known for the first flight of the Wright Brothers over the giant sand dunes at Jockey's Ridge. The Wright Brothers Memorial is a landmark for aviation history.brbrNature and Bird Watching....brbrPea Island National Wildlife Refuge is a ten minute drive from our house. It's refuge for local and seasonal birds. There is a ranger on staff during business hours. They have nature hikes and discussions throughout the season. This area is known for sea turtle rescue. There are often sightings of loggerheads and other turtles.brbrFishing...brbrOregon Inlet Fishing center is the hub of fishing charters. The Oregon Inlet connects the sound with the Atlantic Ocean. Charters are popular because the gulfstream is only a few miles from the inlet. On some days you might even see the shrimp boats coming in when you cross over the Bonner Bridge. Charters are available all year round. The fishing center is a great place to go around 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. and watch the fishermen bring in their catch for the day.brbrKid's Stuff....brbrOf course there's our great beach, but if you want to venture out...there are other things to do. You can take the children to the sound side where it's very shallow with little waves. The incline into the water is very gradual which is fun for the kids. North Carolina Aquarium is 30 minutes away in the town of Manteo. There are also small amusement areas 30 minutes north of us which have miniature golf and go carts.brbrDining...brbrIf you are looking for a Burger King or McDonalds, you will be disappointed. Our restaurants serve local fish and cuisine and are operated by the locals. Fresher fish would be hard to find. There are places to go out for breakfast and dinner very close to our home if you do not want to cook.brbrAdditional information:brbrOur house is situated on our lot on a 45 degree angle which makes the view from the front window incredible. brbrWe have an extensive DVD collection too.

No unregistered guest are allowed. Additional guests will be charged at $100 per guest per night. brbr2. No smoking anywhere on property. If any of your guests smoke inside the house you will be charged a $750.00 Ozone cleaning fee. brbr3. No parties. If you host a party with unregistered guests you will be charged $100 per guest, a $600 additional cleaning fee, and will be evicted immediately. brbr4. No pets allowed. Sorry. Please do not use the white towels to remove makeup. We provide makeup removal wash cloths for this. Makeup will stain the white towels and then we will have to charge you $35.00 per towel. brbr11. NO GLITTER/NO DYE: Glitter is almost impossible to remove and will result in a $1,000 fine to cover excess cleaning. Do not use any temporary or permanent hair dye or other dye products in the rental. Evidence of dye will result in a $500 fine or more if damage occurs to sink, floors, carpets, etc. Primary contact is responsible for all guests along with anyone who enters the home during the stay to abide by these rules. brbrPOOL RULES brbr1.
