Also, my cleaning manager, Ricky, is available in the local area.brbrThis is a private neighborhood with no visible homes from the structure, along a very lightly traveled rural road. The A-frame sits about 120 feet from the Geodome in thick woods, which you can't see except in the winter. The tranquil sound of the creek will relax you. Occasionally, neighbors may fish the parking lot/waterfall area only. This is where the State releases trout.brbrThe parking lot is about two miles or 7 minutes off Highway 421 South. The drive in is beautiful! You'll see a sign for Fall Creek Retreats and the address on a 19x24 yellow and black sign. It's a pretty flat gravel road and parking lot with parking for up to 5 cars.brbrWe have 2 other glamping sites available to rent in the glamping area. Ruffinit has it all! Sitting on top of 2.8 acres, it is in a very private location with nothing but silence around you. Enjoy the long range mountain views from the screened in porch or the oversized deck.brbrRuffinit cabin is really not ruffing it! It is extremely comfortable with all the amenities from home including broadband internet. The cabin inside is constructed in beautiful tongue and groove yellow pine and has been furnished and equipped with everything you need for a great vacation. Main floor bedrooms recently got new hardwood floors, some photos may show carpet. The pottery, pictures and knickknack's all go together to give you a very 'homey' feeling. brbrOn this mountain, there is also a fishing pond, beautiful waterfalls, hiking trails and an outdoor pavilion. Please follow all neighborhood posted signs and rules. Renters assume all liability and risk while using neighborhood amenities. brbrCurrently Buck Mountain is experiencing a drought as of 2024 (it takes about 2 years for rain to get to the well). We have had some guest run out of water in the house after taking long showers but is rare as of Oct 2024. Water will regenerate within minutes but long baths are not possible. We also supply the drinking water and water for flushing in case water does run out during your stay.
