Best Cabin We've Ever Stayed In! A True Mountain Gem!The location is absolutely incredible, and the views of the mountains are stunning. We truly had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The cabin is very spacious yet still feels incredibly cozy and comfortable.The amenities were perfect for our group. We were impressed by the great size kitchen, which was stocked with plenty of cookware, making meals easy and enjoyable. We also appreciated the plenty of games, TV, and reliable internet—great for downtime after a day of exploring.The Cozy Moose Cabin is perfect for a couple or a family. We will absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling in the area and plan to be back ourselves! We’d give it a 10-star review if we could!

It was a wonderful cabin with the best view. We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was clean. The bathroom was huge!. Sitting on that wonderful back deck with those amazing views was so relaxing.

This is a beautiful property; the Host and Hostess responded quickly to my inquiries, and absolutely provided a lot of special amenities.

We stayed the weekend at this cabin because our granddaughter was in a horse show. It was a very relaxing place to come back to after a busy show. The views off the back deck are spectacular! The beds are very comfortable and my granddaughter enjoyed having the loft to herself. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second time staying at this property and it was wonderful both times. We also got to enjoy meeting many of the neighbors and folks that live there when we were invited to join them at the July 4th Community Gathering where there was food and fellowship and even a live band. Terrific experience and property.

We are in our 60’s, stayed 10 days in this Cozy cabin, great view, peaceful atmosphere, but no curtains in main bedroom the sun wakes you up at 6am and we wanted to sleep and rest as much as possible. The Loft bedroom has a blind in window over headboard but still sun light comes through living room big windows and you have to go down a set of stairs in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. We had to purchase and tape aluminum foil on the French doors in main bedroom to be able to sleep. Thanks to the aluminum foil we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 2 nights at the Cozy Moose in March 2025. The cabin is beautifully decorated and has a gorgeous mountain view out of the downstairs bedroom, kitchen, dining room and basement. The house was immaculately clean and was very comfortable. Communication with the owner about roads and possible inclement weather was excellent. Responses were timely and very helpful. These owners take pride in their property, and it shows. We would gladly stay here again.

These hosts are amazing!! You do not need any essentials upon arrival, they have thought of everything!! We will be back

The name of the cabin says it all. It is a cozy , quaint cabin with anything that you could possibly need. We have come to cherish our trips here.

Unfortunately, we had booked The Cozy Moose the week after Helene hit the area. I contacted Tammy and Joe right after the storm to see if the cabin was even reachable. They were at the cabin when contacted and they gave us options about how to handle the situation...our choice. We ended up visiting even though we knew the cabin didn't have electricity when we started our trip. The electricity wasn't restored, but the cabin ran on a generator. We still really enjoyed it. The cabin has an amazing view of the mountains that changes throughout the day. Tammy and Joe were great to work with on the whole situation. It is truly a great place to get away for a while.

Perfect location to work uninterrupted and close enough to some fun things to do on breaks. Cabin is beautiful, clean, and there's no beating the mountain view.

My husband and I had a nice little getaway at the Cozy Moose Cabin. It had everything we needed (except for good weather). LOL. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans and utensils and the bedding was very comfortable. The owners were quick to answer any questions I had before and during our stay. I would rent it again in a heartbeat.

Very nice cabin facing West with the mist breathtaking sunsets. Cabin had every you would want to relax in solitude. Nice trails to walk as part of the resort with hammocks to rest by the creeks if you have the time to do so. Cabin was as advertised and all the reviews on this place are accurate. Nice clean place. One of the best we have rented on VRBO!

A weekend away in this cabin was the perfect way to start the summer. Be sure to check out the waterfall that is just a 10-minute drive away.
