Welcome to Eagleview with 42 acres on top of the world near Brevard. This property has been our family for generations and we have been fortunate to live here for many years. The views here rival the Blue Ridge Parkway. Come prepared for the vacation of a lifetime as you enjoy the many miles of hiking trails on the property, and sit on the front porch and enjoy the beautiful views and sunsets that bless our home. FREE activities including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing.brbrThe first thing you'll notice when you enter is the huge natural stone wood burning fireplace that is the centerpiece of the living room. We love the open floor plan that connects the living area, kitchen and dining room. The entire far wall of the main level is devoted to windows so you can enjoy the view from anywhere. The view will draw you to the front of the house where you can step outside on the deck or the screened porch. The gas grill and outdoor seating area are perfect for cookouts and gathering with family and friends.brbrThe master suite is on the main level and you will enjoy the comfortable bed, the luxurious bathroom and the outdoor deck. Head downstairs where you will find two more bedrooms, a bathroom and a living area with a day bed. There is a fire pit and patio just outside one of the lower level bedrooms, and a large lawn gives way to a wooded area and the beginning of many trails. Go forward along the trail and you will find the beautiful natural stone ledge where we have installed some additional seating. It's the perfect place to enjoy some serenity and peace as you revel in the quiet beauty of the view, especially during sunrise and sunset.brbrThis home is private and secluded, yet close enough to Brevard to be convenient. Bring your bikes and your hiking gear because you will want to explore all the outdoor spaces nearby. We are minutes from the entrance to Pisgah National Forest and miles of scenic road biking. Our home actually backs up to DuPont State Forest (location of the first Hunger Games movie). Gorges State Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, Hendersonville and the Biltmore House are all an easy day trip from our location. Pisgah Ridge Country Cabin near Brevard is convenient to DuPont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, and all the hiking, biking, and all the other outdoor activities that make our area famous. We love our log cabin and its peaceful setting at the top of Pisgah Forest Drive. Relax and enjoy the view from the deck, and just unwind. We have a hiking trail on the property that leads down to a stream. FREE activities including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing.brbrEverything in the house is accessible on the main level with the exception of the loft, which is up the spiral staircase. Lots of sunlight make this a cheerful space and the views make it relaxing and peaceful. We have a fire pit in the side yard as well as a gas grill, and the deck has a covered area so you can enjoy the outdoors rain or shine. The open floor plan connects the kitchen, dining area and the living area which makes the house great for entertaining. The kitchen has all the pots and pans and utensils you could want, and even features a dual Keurig and Regular coffee maker so bring your pods! We are from Texas and we love coming to Brevard every chance we get. We fell in love with this house and it is our mountain getaway. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!brbrBrevard is home to the renowned Brevard Music Center, and is host to annual festivals including the White Squirrel Festival in early June, great 4th of July festivals, the Mountain Song Festival every September, and lots of fun activities on Halloween (Brevard is in Transylvania County, after all). Be sure to check out the event calendar for the Porter Center, which is the performing arts venue for Brevard College. You should check out Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Forest, both a short drive away, and it takes only about 20 minutes to get to the beautiful Gorges State Park. We were amazed when we first visited this home. Could this really be our mountain getaway Before we knew it we had purchased, renovated and made it our own. We are excited to share it with you. The views are spectacular and rival what you'll see from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Come see why we call this home Grandview! A huge living room with high ceilings and a stone fireplace with gas logs connects you the deck with a wall of tall windows and sliding glass doors. It also connects to the deck, which is the best place to enjoy the view outdoors. There is another indoor view room at the far side of the deck that's great for kids and is set up with a TV, fiber internet 400/400 MBPS with mesh WIFI network, shuffleboard darts, seating and tables. There's a generous kitchen with a breakfast nook and picture window.
