Surrounded by multiple lakes, rivers, and three national forests, the area provides a wealth of outdoor activities like hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, boating, white water rafting, tubing, and pontoon boat rentals for the entire family to enjoy.brbrA gently sloped, circular, gravel driveway will bring you to the cabin. A short flight of steps leads to the covered porch and front door. brbrThe cabin’s main living area is very inviting with its all-wood interior, large river rock fireplace, and 20 ft high vaulted ceilings. Fall in love with the woodland & mountain views from the great room’s wall of windows while you cozy up to the realistic-looking electric fireplace. A 50” Roku TV, DVD player with a variety of movies, and unique decor complete the space.brbrThis brand-new cabin has a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area for 8 people, and a laundry alcove with a large capacity washer and dryer. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, dresser, closet, and 32” Roku TV. Also located on the main floor is a bathroom with a gorgeous rainforest-themed shower. brbrAt the top of the stairs leading up to the lofted game room, you will find a reading nook with a stocked bookshelf in case you forgot to bring your own reading material, and a Rustic, Appalachian-themed bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The game room is equipped with a ping-pong table, fusbol table, wall-mounted 32” Roku TV, DVD player, and a variety of games and puzzles. brbrThe loft also contains 3 Murphy Beds: one queen and two twin beds that are accessible, if needed, after the ping-pong table is folded up against the wall. brbrOutside, enjoy rocking on the west-facing 288 sq ft covered porch, grilling on the 392 sq ft prow deck, or toasting s’mores at the fire pit area in front of the cabin (wood provided). Relax in the hammock under shady trees, play outside games like corn-hole, horseshoes, and tetherball, or hike the trail down to the spring-fed creek.brbrCheck-in remotely, with an electronic keypad lock on the front door. Guests will be provided with an entry code 48 hrs prior to arrival.brbrThis private cabin sits on 7+ acres in the woods. A few scattered neighboring houses are in the area. The Property is secluded and predominantly quiet, however, the sounds of neighboring dogs will carry from across the hill.brbrEasy access with paved roads all the way to the cabin's gently sloping gravel driveway, however, winter travel conditions may require a 4WD vehicle. There is a large, flat, graveled area next to the house for parking, as well as parking along the circular driveway.brbr*It is highly advisable that you put the address on any Maps app before arriving, that way you avoid losing signal when going up the mountain.*br*Please make every effort to arrive during daylight hours, as the mountain roads are heavily wooded, have lots of curves, and are dark.*brbrThis is a rural location! Do not leave any food or garbage outside! This wooded setting is also home to many insects, some of which will occasionally make their way inside the cabin. Keeping doors closed, especially at night, will keep their entry to a minimum. Please note that in the Fall and Winter, despite our pest control measures, ladybugs tend to find their way into the cabin to escape the cold. They can be relocated to the Ladybug Hibernation Hotel which is located next to the trail.

Queen beds are in each BR with a twin also on the main and terrace floors. The upper floor has a private bath, small walkin closet and a barn door and fixed viewing window for temperature isolation. All floors have ample clothing dressers and a closet. Smart TV's in all BR's except main floor. Iron, blow dryers, blender, mixer, ice maker and gas oven and gas fireplace are present. The terrace floor has its own wraparound porch with outdoor table and rocking chairs, and a living room with Dolby Atmos large TV and popcorn microwave station, mini-refrig. Main floor has coffee station with complimentary coffees, traditional and Keurig machines. Couches on the main and terrace floors are not foldout beds but some have recliner feature. Terrace floor has a reading area with over a hundred varied books and some games. This floor can be accessed from the parking area by exterior stairs but when locked, access must be through the main floor front door.brGuest accessbrTV & WIFI: There are two small locked closets for the maid and owners and otherwise the home is accessible to visitors. All TV's are 'smart' or have Roku capability with basic local channels, and the free streaming channels. You may use your home streaming services as well. WiFi up to 30 Mbps is included which is ample for streaming multiple TV programs or movies. PARKING: There is room for a boat, truck and car in the gravel parking area, or 3 cars total.brLONGER STAYS: The maximum stay for one booking is 28 days. Weekly visitors may leave household garbage in the locked tool building and guests staying longer should use the county waste station as there is no county curbside pickup. There are three steps from the parking area to the main porch with one handrail, and on the main floor, there is a narrow, short passage way by the laundry area before entering the bathroom, through which only a narrower walker can pass.br SHOP & SIP in Murphy: Second Saturday monthly, 2-5pm: Retailers will be providing refreshments, special sales, raffles, and fun.Come support the small, locally-owned retailers of Downtown Murphy.br SPRING FESTIVAL, Murphy: Each springbr ART WALK, first Friday from May - December in Murphy with free music, food vendors.br Further ahead: MURPHY has downtown streetfront Halloween fun for kids and Christmas tree lighting and parade in December.br MOUNTAIN DRIVE ACCESS: ACCESS ROAD: As with most mountainside homes enjoying a great view, there is a winding road for 1 mile up the mountain. It is PAVED with one switchback turn which does not require backing if you swing wide, even when pulling a small trailer. There is also a secondary 'backside' alternate route if you prefer rock gravel roads and concrete mixture--either one gets you there in a 2 wheel drive car unless rare ice days! But if you want a high view withOUT a mountainside road, we wish you the best and suggest looking at other locations. And, don't drive in Ireland or the UK countryside :-)
