All appliances are brand new 2024, and the kitchen is fully set-up for your cooking needs. The dining room comfortably seats six. Just off the dining room is a bonus office and reading area with views out to the marina and access onto the deck. For those of us that can never quite walk away from work, it's a great spot to check emails and step away. For those better at fully disconnecting, the oversized chair is a perfect quiet, comfortable escape. Adjacent to the dining and bonus rooms there is a convenient half bath.brbrThe primary bedroom is a true retreat with access to the deck overlooking the sound. Downtown Manteo is a 5 to 10-minute walk/bike or a very quick drive, with a number of restaurant choices (The Avenue and Circa 1587 are two of my favorites) and entertainment choices, including the Pioneer theatre which offers both movie and other entertainment options so be sure to check their calendar. brbrThe beaches are a 10-minute drive with South Nags (Jennette's Pier which has free parking, bathrooms and outdoor showers) and Pea Island are some of the best options around. I spend a good deal of time on the sound as well, whether it's boating, fishing or exploring the shorelines for driftwood. I enjoy the quaint town of Manteo's walkability and revived downtown day and night-time restaurant and bar venues. Manteo has really stepped up in recent years with evening entertainment options, making it a great year-round place to go. The combination of beach and town benefits, and the amazing sound views, made this my ideal choice. I hope you enjoy your stay.
