The large living room has a custom rock fireplace (not usable), beautiful large bay window, large flat screen, and 2 large couches. The bonus room has a 70 inch smart TV, 2 large couches, foosball table, air hockey/ping pong table, checkers/card table. Beautiful pool table in a room with electric logs fireplace. There is a beautiful private inground pool and large area to relax with a propane firepit, large table with umbrella, gas/charcoal combo grill. There is a screened in sunroom with pool views. The pool is open during the warm months, usually mid May through September. The home also has a large front patio with plenty of rocking chairs to enjoy the view and peace and quiet. There is a large grass area to the side of the home with a wood burning firepit and a beautiful gazebo with amazing Blue Ridge Mountain views. While our vacation home does have satellite internet it is located in the country so speeds may be slow at times especially during bad weather.

The cabin was relocated here back in 1999 from Virginia where it was originally built. It is a true early settlers cabin. Combined space loft and main floor is 600sqt/ft. Each log is well over 150 years old. It has a kitchen with 4 eye cook top, convection oven/microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, living room, bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and shower combined. A loft bedroom accessed by a spiral staircase. This staircase is narrrow and dogs will have to be helped or carried up. Space would not allow a larger staircase. The loft is equipped with a queen size and a full size bed and rough pine furniture. The laundry room is located left on the back porch area it has both a washer and dryer. There is a front porch with two rocking chairs and a back porch with an outdoor grill. Both porches have winter time views of the mountains. The setting is trees and mountains all around with views up and down the .5 mile driveway. To sit in the cabin recliner and breath in what it must have been like for early settlers is a truly unique feel. A motion light with camera has been added to the entry to provide lighting and safety when entering and exiting and it will record when motion activated. WIFI High speed, Pots and pans, silverware plates, bowls, coffee cups, a wine opener, and can opener are also provided. A Keurig coffee maker and k cups are provided . The driveway is a wide one lane that leads to the cabin, and there is virtually no traffic except the occasional vehicle.
