Description

This is a creekside 1st story retreat located at Bald Top Mountain with one bedroom (queen), a full bathroom, living room, and kitchen. Outside, there is a patio with 2 chairs, a couch, and table where you can sit and listen to the babbling brook and enjoy the views of the waterfalls, nature, and greenery. (The upper level of the property is a permanent rental.)

The property is private and rural, but conveniently located within 1/2 hour drive of Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Asheville, theBiltmore, Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville Airport, and the Pisgah National Forest. It's not a long drive off the main road, and doesn't require a 4 x 4; however, due to recent storms and traffic from utility & construction companies further up the mountain, the asphalt in a short area of the road is crumbling and rutted. You'll still be able to get up the road (the property manager drives a Toyota Corolla), but you'll need to drive VERY slowly there.
