We have a brick ranch style house that has been newly renovated. It has a fully stocked kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and other small appliances. There is a clothes washer, and dryer. The living and dining area are well equipped with nice furniture. We have extra stools for the dining table and there is a 50” TV mounted in the living room with Firestick and Apple TV available for you to use your own services. We have high speed Wi-Fi included in your stay. All 3 bedrooms have 32” smart TV’s. There is a large back yard with outdoor table and chairs, with a propane grill and attached carport. We provide bed linens, Pack-N-Play with changing station and sheets to fit, 1 highchair, towels and wash cloths, starter supply of soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, 1 toothbrush, 1 tube of toothpaste, 2 rolls of toilet paper, hair dryer, 1 roll of paper towels, iron, ironing board, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. We do have security cameras on the outside of the property. There is an Alexa Echo in the kitchen to listen to music or ask her to change the thermostat to a desired temperature in the house. brWe are located close to several restaurants, shopping, local public libraries, Catawba Memorial Hospital, and other government facilities are close by. We are just minutes to the YMCA and local public parks. Discovery High School, and Newton Conover High School are located close as well. Less than 20 minutes to Hickory High School, Lenoir-Rhyne University and Downtown Hickory amenities. We are about 30 minutes to Lake Norman, 45 minutes to the big city of Charlotte, 1 hour to Ashville, and the Parkway. The vineyards of Yadkin Valley are also a little less than an hour to an hour and half away. Security doorbell camera at entry door.

Completely remodeled with a new kitchen, three bedrooms on the main, two of which are spacious bedrooms with perfect views of the lake and walk out deck to enjoy your morning coffee. The third bedroom is also located on the main floor. The main floor also features a dining table for six and a relaxing living room with picturesque views of the lake. The fourth bedroom is in the basement and features two pairs of bunk beds for the kids. The basement is also a perfect getaway for a relaxing escape to play board games or watch your favorite movie. Heavenly Harbor also features two large outdoor decks. One with plenty of room to entertain, relax or just enjoy the view, the other which is located closer to the water features a natural wood burning fire pit. Nothing like cozying to the fire and watching the natural beauty of the lake. It is the perfect place to relax and watch the stresses of regular life disappear! Incredible views of the lake from all but one bedroom and all of the comforts of home. Our home is located on a quiet cove with views of the main channel with over 110 feet of water frontage. brOur home features a nicely appointed kitchen with all stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Including blender, crock pot, toaster, Keurig, coffee pot, pots/pans, bakeware and dishware. Plus plenty of different types glasses for your favorite beverage and we didn’t forget the corkscrew either! You won't even need to pack any spices, there is a spice rack with all the spices to cook up your favorite meal. We have a brand new propane grill just outside the kitchen with beautiful views of the lake while you cook! Our dining room table seats up to 6 adults, with additional eating area out on the deck both covered and uncovered - all with spectacular lake views! brWe picked only the best mattresses for all of the beds with clean, soft sheets and big fluffy towels. We want you to feel pampered and spoiled! br Our basement rec room is fun for all ages with a game table for cards and board games, comfy couches & TV. The door out of the basement leads to yet another deck with great views of the lake as well. There you will also find all of the necessities for lake fun; floatation devices, life vests, fishing poles, as well a two kayaks for your boating pleasure. brOur home also features a 16'x20 floating dock for all of the lake fun you could imagine and because were located in a quiet cove you don't have to worry about boat traffic & waves. At the dock there are several flotation devices to float on. The water is 13’ deep at the dock, so cannon balls are a must! Take a ride on our kayaks and look for the many turtles, or do some fishing off the dock. Our family loves to tie all of our floats together and hang out in the water all day! brEnjoy your evenings sitting by the fire in the comfy Adirondack chairs, perfect for the summer evenings and cool winter evenings as well. The lake is beautiful all year long! Feel free to browse our library of books, or trade with your own! We also provide Wifi and internet service as well as a DVD player.brLake Hickory is one the largest freshwater sand bottom lakes in North Carolina. Lake Hickory was created on the Catawba River in 1927 with the completion of the Oxford Dam 11 miles (18 km) northeast of Hickory. The dam parallels the NC Highway 16 bridge over the Catawba River between Interstate 40 and Taylorsville. It is 122 feet (37 m) high, with an overall length of 1,200 feet (370 m). The spillway section of the dam is 550 feet (170 m) long. The lake was named after the City of Hickory and runs along its northern edge. It covers almost 4,223 acres (17.09 km2) with 105 miles (169 km) of shoreline. Full pond elevation is 935 feet above sea level. It is perfect for those who love to swim, ski, tube, boat or enjoy some of the finest fishing in the area. The lake is home to many different species of fish including Striper bass, largemouth and spotted bass, crappie, lake perch, bluegill, sunfish as well as a variety of catfish. Water quality is very good and fed by mountain springs. We are conveniently located about 1 hour from Charlotte, 1 hour from Asheville (home of the Biltmore Estate!), 45 minutes from Blowing Rock and about 3 1/2 hours from the coast. Beautiful mountain views from the lake! brAs far as sports are concerned, Hickory is home to the Hickory Crawdads, a Class-A South Atlantic League minor-league baseball affiliate of the Texas Rangers. The Crawdads play in L.P. Frans Stadium located in the western portion of the city, near the Hickory Regional Airport.brHickory is also home to the Hickory Motor Speedway, nationally known as the Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars.
