We love this home and we love our guests (as our reviews should assure you). We have created this environment with families in mind. Our home has custom baby gates (painted to match the kitchen cabinetry!) for all 3 levels that can be installed prior to your arrival. Our hot tub has a cover lock. We've got board and card games in the living room and, of course, our game room on the lower level. We also created several nooks throughout the house for separation. All 6 of our televisions are smart and 5 of them also have DirecTV. We made a concerted effort to make every inch of this property functional and enjoyable. That all being said, we also love coming without the kiddos for some adult rest and relaxation!brOther things to notebrLike all mountain houses in this region, the drive to our home is steep (but not outrageously so). Unlike most properties, all of the roads that lead to our home are paved and maintained by our community homeowners association. You DO NOT need a 4x4 vehicle. In the exceedingly rare event of snow, our roads are promptly plowed and salted. Additionally, the homeowner's association will alert all residents to road conditions (which will be passed on to guests). In the event of a storm that knocks out power, our property has an automatic backup generator.
