Broad River Bend | Modern Retreat with Game Room, Fire Pit & River Access!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was so beautiful and perfect amount of space for our family of 6 a 2yr old. I would 100% recommend staying here if you’re looking for a mountain getaway that is secluded and spacious! My only recommendation is to ensure you bring the small things you think a typical rental may have. We had no issues with the provided items, but if you think of something random you MAY need, definitely just bring it! Since this is a rental agency and not just a person renting out a house, it makes complete sense to provide a small welcome package, but with this being a newer property with less reviews I would want other guests to be prepared. All around we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we so enjoyed the fire pit and having close proximity to the river!

The house is absolutely incredible - very well designed, nicely laid out, and top notch design elements. Beautiful house and property. If you're looking to escape for a bit, this is a great option. We spent a great deal of our visit on the huge upper deck that makes you feel like you're nestled right in the trees! A couple of points to mention as you're booking - this house is definitely off the beaten path. You're about 30 minutes from the closest towns for groceries, gas, etc (Black Mountain to the north, and Fairview to the south). Not a huge deal, as long as your plan for it. Other thing to mention, be forewarned that there is no garbage service. You are responsible for taking your own trash to dispose of it. This was my one complaint about staying here, as you're forced to go 30 minutes north to Black Mountain to the property manager's office to dispose of your trash, which was a major inconvenience for us (since all of our normal outings took us south toward Fairview). Not the end of the world, but nice to know before you book so you can plan accordingly.

The check in process was super easy and toiletry bags were specialized for us upon arrival. The kitchen had just about everything you would need and was immaculate. There was not a grill provided however. The house itself was beautiful and very secluded. The closest grocery store was about 20min away. The back porch was so beautiful with brand new furniture and a gas fireplace. It does need a battery to turn it on however, but we were able to light it with a lighter. Down the driveway was a creek and firepit with chairs that was a fun place to take the kids. I highly Recommend this house it had plenty of room for all 6 of us.
