Stayed Jul 18, 2024Wonderful property that was perfect for our family of 6. The house was clean and well appointed. Especially the kitchen! Our stay was short so we didn't cook, but if we had been there longer, we definitely would have made use of the air fryer and the instant pot. They had all the traditional pots and pans you might need. They even had a solid selection of spices and basics (flour, sugar, salt, pepper), so if you do want to cook you don't have to buy every little thing. They also had enough dishes and cups for our family (not always the case for rentals unfortunately). The house is a short drive from downtown Black Mountain and so the location was very convenient. If we ever need to stay in Black Mountain again, we will definitely be booking Bear Walk Cottage again!!

Stayed Aug 23, 2025We stayed several days at Bear Walk Cottage in Black Mountain for a late summer getaway. The location was very convenient to shops, restaurants and many beautiful drives through the surrounding mountains. The cottage was so tastefully decorated and spotless! The owners thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable. We highly recommend Cragmont Rentals and especially Bear Walk Cottage. ❤️

Stayed Sep 25, 2024This place was very nice, very clean and adorably decorated. We were there during the hurricane and with no power, for this I would recommend getting candles and more flashlights. I would recommend this place to others and I hope when I return to the area it’ll be available.

Stayed Jun 28, 2024Many vacation properties skimp in areas.....not this one. FULLY stocked kitchen with everything to live there, bake, entertain, you name it. Quality furnishings and beautifully decorated. Quick drive or Uber to Black Mountain and Asheville. We will stay again. We e didn't take pets but they even had a dog bed and dishes.
