It was a cool place to stay in a convenient location in Black Mountain. The street the trailer was on was busier than expected and didn't have sidewalks, but it was a quick walk and easy to get to town. We enjoyed the 70's style and all the decor including the 70's music for the record player. Fun times.

It’s a groovy little spot. It was well kept and very clean. It is within walking distance to the happening spots in black mountain. Very convenient little spot.

The location was perfect for people who want to ditch their car and the parking nightmare and walk to downtown from their rental. The place itself is a recently renovated 1970’s trailer home with everything you need for a getaway, including a kitchen with everything. Themed for the 70’s with a splash of MCM, well maintained, furniture and appliances mostly brand new or in “like new” condition. Had an amazing stay, might come back in the fall!

This is an excellent location! It’s a quick 5-10 minute walk to lots of shops and restaurants, but still quiet at night. The decor is cute, beds were comfortable, and overall, we had what we needed. We did have issues with the shower being fully clogged with pet hair and backing up the first night. Management was very quick to respond and offered to send someone out the next day, but we were able to dig enough out to get it draining again so we were fine. Sheets were clean, but comforters were covered in thick, black dog fur… Ideally, these would be washed/changed between guests in a pet friendly rental. We were able to lint roll a good bit of it, but it would’ve been nice to not have to deal with that and the drain if cleaning was more thorough. The a/c also struggled to cool below about 78 degrees in the middle of the day, but I realize in a metal building in direct sun, that’s probably difficult. Overall, it was a good place for a short trip but more attention to detail with cleaning would have been nice.

This rental was perfect! Clean and in a great neighborhood. Just a few recommendations. 1. A couple bar stools2. Some kitchen cleaning rags3. More hooks (in bathroom and bedrooms)4. Full length mirror

Super clean and cute; not at all what one would expect from a mobil home. Walkable and tons to drive to near by.

Perfect little home away from home for 3-night stay in Black Mtn. The queen mattress is really comfortable with good pillows. I didn't sleep in the double bed, but no complaints were heard. It was so perfectly decked out in retro and totally groovy. The kids loved playing the albums on the record player. Their favorite was ABBA's Greatest Hits. My only challenge was the lighting above the bathroom vanity which was too bright and close for proper makeup application. Thankfully, I had another mirror I packed that I was able to use to put on makeup in the bedroom. Could use a waste basket in the bedroom as well. The location was convenient to I-40 and within walking distance of Downtown Black Mountain. Really enjoyed the shops and the restaurants. Highly recommend eating at The Bush right down the street from the Groovy Guesthouse. The food and cocktails are surprisingly amazing for such a relaxed and cozy setting.

We loved staying in the Groovy Guesthouse! What a location! We could walk to any number of fabulous restaurants to meet our local friends, and we were just minutes away from wonderful playgrounds and parks for our child. The decor was charming - we would stay again anytime!

My partner and I along with our fur babes enjoyed a long weekend at the Groovy Guesthouse- the space was clean, well equipped and a short distance to all the fun stuff in and around town. Upon arrival, we had a brief WIFI glitch that management resolved speedy quick. Meanwhile, being offline for a bit forced us to break out the vinyl records and dance to some 70's hits...a favorite memory of the weekend. Not to mention the bean bag- my favorite spot in the house. Thanks y'all. We'll see you again!
