The porches, decks, benches, and a firepit all provide the setting for creating precious memories.brbrThe Carolina Jewel has 5 bedrooms in the historic 1845 Victorian Farmhouse and an additional 2 bedrooms in the spacious Creekside Crystal Cottage on the property across the creek underneath a canopy of trees. Each of the suites in the Historic house, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has its’ own unique charm. All bedrooms have private baths and fireplaces equipped with gas logs. br The oldest portion of the home, the Great Room that was built in 1845, has rustic rough-hewn logs and its fireplace is made of rocks pulled from the fields outside. Adjacent to the great room is the fully stocked modern kitchen and laundry room for your use. In 1880 an addition, of the Victorian style, was added to the log cabin to accommodate the growing family.
