Stayed Dec 2, 2025Our host went above and bring to make everything work so well for us. She gave us suggestions when asked. I highly recommend this dwelling. There are a lot of steps on the outside to get to the apartment. That did not bother us but may not work for some.

Stayed Apr 21, 2024I had a wonderful stay in this comfortable, well-appointed and sun-filled guest house. There are sky-lights and large windows throughout the house, which made for wonderful light. The bed was very comfortable with a nice, firm mattress and nice linens. The shower was large and pleasant (with another skylight in the bathroom). The neighborhood is very calm, quiet and pretty, with nice houses and gardens. I also appreciated that there was good food shopping (Whole Foods and Trader Joe's) a short drive or 20-minute walk away, and that Ashelville's lovely downtown district was easily accessible. Helen was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely rent this house again and hope to come back!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I stayed here for 3 months while completing my final graduate school internship. Helen was extremely helpful; the apartment was beautiful and in a great little neighborhood. My favorite part was all of the natural light (with 3 sunlights and a wall of windows)!
