New Park is a stunning 18 acre property set in an enchanting forest in the midst of wine country. The stone stack fencing, rolling hills, and endless gardens make you feel like you've suddenly stepped into a quaint Irish village.

The Balloon Room is a colorful and unique suite on the property of New Park Event Venue & Suites. The Balloon Room has two queen beds, a sitting area, and a breakfast bar. It has two outside spaces - a sun deck and a covered patio. Balloon Room sleeps 4people in beds, and then either one adult or two kids on the fold down couch.

The room includes a smart TV Netflix and Disney Plus. The luxury bathroom features a beautiful walk-in shower with see-through glass doors, a cobblestone wall with tile designs, uniquely styled tile floors, and a teak chair. The bathroom area has a remarkable mosaic window and dual glass vessel sinks, and a Toto Washlet Japanese bidet toilet.

In addition to your room space, you'll have access to the courtyard and Wish Room common space. The Wish Room has a fireplace in the middle of the room and there are two campfire spaces on the property. The Wish room campfire space can be reserved for private parties.

Do you have a large group Balloon Suite adjoins to another two suites - all suites have private access, but also have adjoining doors if you have a larger party. While we are a dog friendly property, we can only allow dogs in Balloon if the adjoining rooms have all been reserved together, or they are never left in the room alone. If you are planning activities where your dog would be left in the room, we ask that you instead reserve Finger Lakes Cottage or Key Cottage, where there are no shared walls.

A note on cleaning fees:

* We charge a $30 cleaning fee. This fee offsets our costs for turning over the suite in between stays. We do not enter the suites once you have checked in (unless there is an emergency or you ask us to).
* It does not fully cover the cost of cleaning the suite - our cleaners are paid above the living wage rates for our county.
* Charging this fee allows us to be flexible in stay length. Having a one-time fee incentivizes longer stays, and makes a one-night stay worth the extra effort!
* We do not have a chore list! You do not have to vacuum, do laundry, take out the trash, or strip the beds. We provide light cleaning materials in case there's a spill.

About New Park:

New Park is a one-of-a-kind 18 acre property just north of Ithaca in the Finger Lakes Region. It is 10 minutes from the city of Ithaca and 5 minutes from Taughannock Falls and Trumansburg. It was originally a roadside motel, but in the 90s, every room was transformed into a work of art. Stained glass, handcrafted stonework, and incredible woodwork laces every single room.

Features of New Park:

-There is one room called the Wish Room which has a wood burning fireplace in the middle of the room, as well as a piano, guitars, record player, gas grill, cable TV and wifi.

-Romantic gardens, rolling lawns, and a forest for hiking (as long as it isn't hunting season).

-There are two communal fire pits - one in the center of the property and another off to the side. The entire property is surrounded by a very tall privacy fence that once protected the privacy of a celebrity (ask the staff or the locals and they'll tell you more!). New Park also has an event space and a picnic area by a creek that is so beautiful that people get married there almost every weekend of summer.

New Park also has a total of 7 suites and can sleep up to 22 people across them, so bring some family and friends with you! Each cottage is listed separately, and we also have a listing for our Triple Suite.

Note: This property has a venue on site and does occasionally host events. All suites have designated parking and the events must be finished before quiet hours which are 11pm-9am. The gardens, trails, firepits and lounge are all open to share with other guests on site.
