Clean Well Maintained Cayuga Lake Perfect For Families, Wineries, College Visits

Great location right on Cayuga Lake and close to town. Incredible views of the lake from the elevated house and deck.

Clean and well equipped. Gorgeous view. Comfortable beds and living spaces. Too cold to enjoy the kayaks but hope to return when the weather is warmer. Highly recommend this lovely house!

For our group of 5, the house was perfect. Beautiful views. The town of Ithaca is very close. Many wineries and waterfalls to explore nearby. Kitchen basics such as coffee and tea were available. Wegmans was nearby for grocery shopping. The owner does provide excellent information before checking in, including parking photos. These were very handing. It was a little tricking with our very large vehicle.

Our stay at this lake house was great. The house is beautiful and the views from all rooms in the house are amazing. It's close to restaurants in Ithaca and also to several different state parks. And it's obviously right on the lake, which was great. The yard was perfect for hanging out on and relaxing. It was nice that they had a couple of canoes and kayaks on the property as we used them several times. I would definitely recommend this house.

The hosts of this property have poured a lot of love into their beautiful home. It was exactly as described and an absolutely amazing location. You're right on the water, minutes from downtown with lots of options, and of course you're in wine country with no shortage nearby. You can also hear a waterfall right nearby and see it at the top of the driveway. It is steep, but well worth the steps! Some of our favs were a newer restaurant Food Lab, Here. on Seneca and The Tavern for a fun drink with locals. We also enjoyed Treman trails and can't miss the beautiful Seneca Falls in downtown. We hope to be back for a future visit.We stayed with our two pups who also loved watching the water as well as splashing around. The property is well fenced - as long as your dogs are trained they should be fine to run about the deck or the lower level by the water. The lower level grass area is ideal for bathroom breaks, they also have plenty of seating down there to hang out as well as fire pit and canoes/kayaks to use. We prefer our beds more firm, but we were still very comfortable on the bed. There are also no ceiling fans so if that's something important to sleep comfortably it might be worth bringing a fan. The towels were so soft and the kitchen was well stocked, they also provided soap, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had the most amazing stay at Carolyn's place. She left us a place so clean that we all felt comfortable walking around the house without shoes. I have stayed at numerous rentals and this was the cleanest i have ever experienced. The views were gorgeous, with the bonus being that you can see the Cornell campus from here. Easy access to all things Ithaca, wifi was fast, and kitchen was well appointed. We did not go in the lake but we did enjoy some r and r on the dock. Would stay again.

Our stay was wonderful! NY in the fall is some serious competition…. Views of the lake were perfect, ample space for 6 adults, super close to town and scenic areas. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting some great views and a peaceful vacation experience. Host was very communicative and gave great direction.

We had a great week and loved all of the beautiful lake views from the house. It was great to have a dock to keep our rental pontoon boat at. Our family of six all had plenty of room to relax, as well as our dogs. The location was great! Close to town, Watkins Glen, and plenty of wineries.

Carolyn and Adam's lakefront house was a pleasure to stay at. The house was clean, airy and comfortable. The view from the living room and deck was stunning. The property at lake level offered more seating, a dock and the use of the canoe and kayak. The kitchen was well stocked with a view of the lake from there also. The downstairs spa tub was very relaxing and the new upstairs bathroom was a nice addition. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we would recommend the house to anyone to have a relaxing stay with a great view.

Super clean and comfortable. There were 6 adults and we were very comfortable and felt very at home. Spent time on the deck playing games in the evening. Enjoyed watching sunsets and sunrises over the lake. Would definitely recommend.

Our Family ( 2 Adults, 2 kids and 3 Corgis) enjoyed the stay at this lakeside home. The house and property are well maintained, we would recommend this house and plan to stay again in the near future. Great fishing for the kids off the dock!

This was a perfect place for our family to stay! The house is beautifully located and designed, offering stunning views from every room. The backyard was absolutely amazing! We were able to BBQ and dine on the deck while soaking in the breathtaking lake view. The provided kayaks and canoes allowed us to enjoy the lake to the fullest. The fire pit is a delightful addition, where we enjoyed hot dogs and s'mores. My son had a blast fishing off the deck, catching numerous fish. Our dogs loved playing in the yard and lake. We can't wait to return. We had the most incredible time!

We had a great time. The home was great, and waking up to the sun on the lake each morning was perfect.
