Please check Big Sky Resort's site for lift operation.br brPremier Ski Access:brWeather Dependent, Big Sky Resort will operate Wednesday, November 27, 2024 - Sunday, April 27, 2025. The hours and dates of operation for the White Otter Lift will be December 13, 2024, through April 6, 2025, 9 am - 4 pm daily. The Cascade and Little Thunder Lifts are scheduled to run from December 13, 2024 - April 6, 2025 (11 am - 4:30 pm) during the winter season. brAccess trails will be groomed after 6” of accumulated snow.brbr*** This winter season, Rope Tow Joe is unable to run or be replaced. A trail easement encroachment has made any lift or rope tow in that location an unsustainable solution due to the lack of appropriate space for operations.brbr** Please be aware when making your reservation that lift access in November, early December, and April might not be available. br brSki In/Out Access:brWhen Starting Your Ski Day: You can ski down Swift Bear to the White Otter lift directly from the back door of the garage. Follow the groomed trail down and then through the ski tunnel that goes under the road. Take the White Otter lift up and then ski to the Big Sky Resort main base area. The easiest route is to make an immediate right onto the narrow traverse on the right side of White Wing, to reach the base area.brbrWhen Ending Your Ski Day: The easiest way back to the home is to look for the four trail signs for Powder Ridge Cabins and Cascade Lift. Follow the sign for the Cascade lift. You will follow the main flow of the trail, but make sure to take the sharp left over the White Otter Access Bridge, then go straight down the hill following the trail under the White Otter lift. At the base of the White Otter lift, you will see Rope Tow Joe on your left (down for the 22/23 season). Press the Start button and the rope tow will bring you to the base of the Cascade lift. As you ski off Cascade make a hard right and immediately loop under the chairlift. Then ski through the trail marked by two red reflectors. The brand new hot tub on the deck will be ready for you after your last run. Amenities include washer/dryer, roomy kitchen, game table, and space to relax in front of the fireplace. Bathrooms in each bedroom allow plenty of room to freshen up with an additional half bath on the main level. brbrInside this mountain home you will find inviting interiors and relaxed furnishings as you enjoy the open family room with vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and constant ambiance with mountain views throughout the main floor.brbrThe lower level of this three story mountain house includes front door and garage access (one car) as well as two king bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Big Sky has something for anyone: adventure, solitude, fine dining and shopping and beautiful vistas. Come soak it in!brbrOur 2200 sq ft home was built in 2013 and backs up to common space with fantastic views of the Spanish Peaks. The front of the home looks over the golf course with frequent sightings of elk and moose. The home is about 3/4 of a mile from the meadow village with an abundance of restaurants and shopping and a 10 minute drive from alpine skiing. The cross country ski trails and summer hiking trails are just out the front door. brbrThe home has WiFi and television access to Netflix and Amazon through the Wifi. The house comfortably sleeps 8.brbrThe home is two stories. Downstairs is a modern kitchen with all the amenities and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen opens into the living room so the chef of the house can be part of the action. The living room has a wood fireplace that gives off la warm glow and plenty of warmth! Perfect for warming up after a day on the slopes or Nordic trails!
