Riders retreat is a two bedroom, one bath cabin located just steps away from the famous Pine Stump Junction in historical Pine Stump, Michigan. For all snowmobile and ATV enthusiasts, this cabin is in the heart of the eastern UP trail system. Local attractions include Taquahmanon Falls State Park, Oswald's Bear Ranch, Garlynn Zoo, Kitchitikipi (Big Springs), Grand Marais, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, and Whitefish point (shipwreck museum) in beautiful Paradise, Mi. brbrThe cabin is cozy and offers one queen bed in bedroom one. In bedroom two, it has one queen bed, one twin bed, and one futon that pulls out into a full size bed. In the living room, there are two full size pull out couches. It also features a fully supplied kitchen. There are enough glassware, silverware, plates and bowls for six people. Pots and pans and cooking utensils are provided. This is a great little getaway for a family or a group of riders. brbrJust four doors north is the famous Pine Stump Junction cookshack. This is a nice restaurant that serves great food and has wonderful service as well as gas to fill up those toys. brbrbrAlso within minutes from the front door, you will find snowmobile/ ATV trails that connect to the Eastern UP trail system. In the winter, these trails are groomed and maintained regularly and make for wonderful riding. In the summer, you will discover miles of Lake Superior’s shoreline good for kayaking, fishing, hiking, rockhounding and relaxing. In the fall, the color tours are breathtaking and you will be awed by mother nature’s beauty. There is something for all seasons.

Cute and cozy private cabin on 40-acres with beds, a wood burning stove, ORV/ATV trails at the end of driveway, and star-filled skies on cloudless nights. THIS IS RUSTIC and REMOTE. Bring your GPS. Modern day creature comforts are limited. NO hot water (although there is a well). NO bathroom (although there is an outhouse). NO cellular guaranteed (although AT&T signal found), NO internet, NO WI-FI, NO cable TV. NO cooking stove (although there is a fire pit). NO Air-Conditioning (just windows). NO washing-machine or clothes-dryer. All laundry is hauled to town 25+ miles away. NO firearms are permitted to be discharged. ORV/ATV is very highly recommended, although property has been accessed via 4-WHEEL DRIVE with HIGH GROUND clearance. Picture of muddy road with large puddles is 5-mile driveway on best of conditions. Wild animals can be found on property. This area “is” known as the moose capital of Michigan. Bear, wolves, and mountain lion have been cited in the area. The nearest gas station and hospital are approximately 25+ miles away (over 40 minutes in ideal conditions). MAKE SURE you have a full tank of gas before departing for the cabin. Maximum number of three (3) occupants (including guests). No parties or events allowed. While it takes time to get here, time perceives to stop once here. Bring your own supplies and happiness! PACK-IN/PACK-OUT. Only roof, beds, wood burning stove, wood, and outhouse will be provided. BOW HUNTERS WITH TAGS WILL BE WELCOME. Repeat guests that treat the place good will be privileged. ~20 miles north of Newberry, MI. Deer Park Beach on Lake Superior is ~12 miles northwest.
