Brought our UTV to ride and we definitely did that! We were very happy with the location of this rental for the activity we were focused on.If we were spending a lot of time at the cabin, it might have been a little small but decor was really cute, cabin appropriate!

This cabin is a comfortable launchpad for Lake Superior adventures. The location is great for heading out to the mouth of the Two Hearted River and its beach and hiking trail. Everything is well equipped. Having a gas stove was a real bonus. We had to use the portable air conditioner part time and, accompanied with the available fans, it was enough to keep things comfortable. Should we head that way again, we would definitely be willing to stay here.

Riders Retreat is everything you need for a stay in the UP. Beds are comfortable, home is very clean, well stocked, and all around a great house. You can walk to Pine Stump Junction for drinks or dinner. Be ready to unplug from your devices …. There is no service for miles around (so plan ahead and save those maps! :) Yard was nice and large for kids to run around or to sit and relax around the fire pit. We used this home as home base to our travels of exploring tahquamenon, pictured rocks and Grand Marais. Highly recommend this home!

House was terrific. bugs...not so much. Lots of mosquitos, bees and eating flesh flies. Could use a screen tent and a picnic table inside. Hard to be outside with all the bugs. Overall, was very nice and served our purposes.

3 of us spent 3 nights riding snowmobiles out of here and it’s a great location. There was adequate parking for a crew cab long box with a 29’ inline trailer with our 4 sleds parked in the remaining plowed area. Beds are very comfy and the house is well stocked. As of our stay there was no WiFi, which wasn’t a problem at all. You’re in the UP, get off your phones and go explore! We will definitely stay again when we want to ride out of Pine Stump!

The house was perfect for our stay. We met a group to ride the trails each day and the house was right across the street basically from the cabins most of the group was at. The host was great, very accommodating and responsive. The house was stocked with everything we needed.

What a great house to stay in! Plenty of bedding, towels and great amenities! The house was super clean with lovely up north decor! Perfect location for those wanting to visit Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish and Grand Marias. Muskallonge State Park was just a 10 min drive away with beautiful sunsets and rock hunting galore! We were able to visit most places within an hour drive. The campfire was nice, lots of local places for firewood nearby. The local eateries were close and both had yummy food. My family and I would love to stay here again. Travis was very communicative and offered tips for our stay! Be prepared to be totally unplugged as most of the UP does not have cell service, great time to get back to nature.

Property was exactly as described. Served as a home base for our 4 night UP adventures. Basically an hour away from most of the attractions that we wanted to see. Pine Stump Junction was just up the street and was a great place to grab a bite and get wifi to check back in on life. If we are ever in the area again, we wont hesitate to look this place up.
