The property is located on a large wooded lot with a wrap-around deck overlooking 200 feet of shoreline on Lake Arrowhead.Spring / Summer- Morel mushroom hunting, nature walks, biking, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking and golf. Gaylord is known as the 'Golf Mecca of the Midwest.' The area features over 20 world class courses. Most are less than 30 minutes away. Fall / Winter- Beautiful fall colors, downhill and cross county skiing and snowmobiling. Gaylord is centrally located inside Michigan's 'Snowbelt', receiving abundant snowfall each winter. Gaylord's trail system connects thousands of miles of marked and groomed trails.brbrFamily Activities-: Keeping the kids happy can make or break a vacation, but when visiting Otsego County, boredom is never a consideration. When the weather won't cooperate or the little ones have just plain run out of things to do, that's when it's time to venture out and discover the many attractions that can put smiles back on their faces. The Otsego County Sportsplex, where kids and grownups can swim in an Olympic-size pool or rent a pair of skates an take to the ice for 'wintertime' fun, even as the sidewalks are sizzling outside. Adjacent to the Sportsplex is the Energy Outlet, a quaint park filled with slides, swings and climbing equipment, all designed to delight and distract the kids from any thoughts of boredom. Throughout the park are structures embedded with information and etchings of the dinosaur age, and surrounding all the fun stuff is a paved walking track.brbrand more family activities...: At Call of the Wild, fun and learning go hand in hand, and it's almost a sure thing that kids want to go back again and again. After touring the outdoors, vistors can step outside the museum to ride on a go-kart or play a round of miniature golf. Checking out the wildlife museum is great fun, but to catch a glimpse of the real thing, a stop at the elk-viewing area at the end of Grandview Boulevard (just east across South Otsego Ave. from Wiscousin St) will afford you a close-up view of North Michigan wildlife. If you still have energy after all that, give some through to seeing a movie at Gaylord Cinema on M-32 West, which shows several different features daily.

Cozy and clean lakefront home with stunning views of beautiful Lake Arrowhead! Large master bedroom upstairs with its own private bathroom and king bed. Second bedroom upstairs with two full beds, great for kids or a couple. Both upstairs bedrooms include portable air conditioners. Third bedroom on main floor with queen size bed. Also a bonus room/loft area upstairs with two futon beds (all sheets/bedding provided for futons). House has wifi with smart TV's so you can stream your favorite shows and movies.brbrHome has full bathroom on main floor. Large open kitchen and dining room, with bar area with seating for 4, and large dining room table that seats 8. Portable air conditioner in the dining/kitchen area. Kitchen is completely stocked with all plates, utensils, pots and pans and just about anything you will need for whatever you want to cook. Full size washer and dryer. brbrOutdoor fire pit area overlooking the lake, and a large 4 burner gas grill on the deck for your use. Extra parking across the street for guests for snowmobile/ATV trailers, and the trails are just down the street. Between Memorial and Labor day there is a heated community pool at the association grounds open to all guests. The association park also has a playground and pickleball court that is free to use. There is a dock for your speed boat or jet skis and a boat launch at the association as well (Lake Arrowhead is all sports). Also provided for renters is three kayaks, a peddle boat, a swim platform, two stand up paddle boards, swim mat, and life jackets in a few various sizes. brbrLocation is great for visiting all that northern MI has to offer! Traverse City, Mackinaw Island, and Petoskey are all about an hour away in either direction, and Boyne Falls area (Boyne Highlands ski/golf/indoor waterpark), is only about 30min away.brbrAll bath linens are provided, but beach towels are not, so please bring your own beach towels. There is a Keurig combination K-cup/pot coffee maker, but coffee is not provided, so please bring your own.
