Our lake house is perched in the pine trees facing the sunsets over Pemaquid Lake. It is set in a private and peaceful location with over 200 feet of waterfront. It includes a floating dock and a 40-foot boat dock with a swim ladder. You can enjoy swimming, kayaking, barbecues, smores in the fire pit, the view from the deck, and walks along the private road. The cottage is located centrally to Midcoast Maine attractions including Camden, Rockland, Damariscotta, and Boothbay Harbor. Enjoy lobster bakes on the deck overlooking the lake or at a nearby lobster shack. Pemaquid Beach, Monhegan Island ferry, Damariscotta oyster bars, Lobster Fest, the Pumpkin Festival, and several hiking trails are within 30 minutes. While our primary residence sits between this rental space and the lake, guests do have a private access path and their own slice of the shorefront featuring seating, a solo stove for campfires and a guest dock. The dock is ideal for tying up a canoe or a boat up to 18 feet long. Kayaks are available for use on the property. Enjoy all the wildlife that our shoreline offers with frequent sightings of loons, eagles and the many birds that visit our feeders. Wildwood Shores Road is a well-kept and quiet gravel road that is perfect for taking walks on and enjoying nature. The 20-acre property features a private road with a fishing pond along it.
