Stayed Oct 8, 2023My partner, myself, and my parents really enjoyed our visit. The lake is stunning and the proximity to Rt 1 makes it easy to get to the towns in the area.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969From the moment we drove up the long dirt road and into these magical woods, I knew I was going to love this home! It is clear that work has been done to update the perfectly equipped modern kitchen and bathroom, but the charm of elements like the beautiful old stone fireplace have remained. Perfection. The views from the wall to wall windows in the living area really can't disappoint and the primary suite above the garage has the most comfortable king bed... a perfect place to be serenaded to sleep by the Loons that really do add to the ambience and relaxing atmosphere here! Our group enjoyed both calming activities like making s'mores around the crackling fire in the firepit overlooking the lake, and getting more active using the paddleboards and kayaks provided by the hosts. We will definitely be looking to return!

Stayed Jul 1, 2023The house is newly renovated and beautiful! The location on the cove is fabulous. Unfortunately, on our 5 th day there was a sudden infestation of carpenter ants that swarmed over the inside of the picture windows seemingly coming from the ceiling. We vacuumed them up with a shop vac we found in the garage and called Vacasa. The builder came to look. Since we had gotten most of them, he said he’d send an exterminator after we left. The next afternoon the ants were back en mass! They were all over and they forced us to leave 2 days early. We felt we were in a horror movie. Thousands of huge carpenter ants swarming.
