Stayed Jul 19, 2025We had a great stay at the Lakefront on Pemaquid Pond cottage. The house is very nice and the location on the lake is great. It has a great waterfront and we enjoyed hanging out in the living room area at the end of the day. We hope to come back and stay again!

Stayed Jul 12, 2025Lovely location. Very Quiet. Well supplied with pots, pans, bowls etc. Great layout for friends and family. lovely yard on the lake front. One of our best rentals ever. Owls, eagles, ospreys, loons, warblers and more in the bird dept.

Stayed Sep 7, 2024Comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen, GREAT collection of games, and fantastic communication with the host. We had a fantastic stay and it served as a great hub to get to all that midcoast Maine has to offer (Fort Knox and Round Top ice cream are always favs of mine). It can get a little noisy for those with hearing aids (especially with kids). Our 4yo loved the selection of games. My mom loved the GIANT washing machine. I loved the comfort of having a family loft and 2 full bathrooms. My 18mo loved the birds and balls she could point out. My partner loved the screened porch for work meetings. The dock, swimming float, and sandy beach are great for little and big swimmers/boaters.

Stayed Jul 22, 2023This is a lovely home on a quiet cove on Pemaquid Pond. Our grandchildren enjoyed jumping off the dock and floating on the inner tubes. The lake was high this year since Maine has had a rainy summer. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage was great for a family visit. The addition of a raft would be nice since the VRBO pictures show one. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Aug 29, 2021Our family had a wonderful time at this property, swimming, kayaking, little ones playing on the small sand beach, coffee on the screened-in porch, lots of crafts, puzzles and games, quiet time in a hammock, long talks, and good food. The cottage is comfortable and well stocked with basic needs. The owners deserve credit for good communication and providing a homey place to stay. One of the highlights was seeing bald eagles, two fishing in the lake and one taking flight from a tree near the dock. We have rented thirteen properties in Maine and rate this as one of the best!
