The interior is lit throughout with chrome and crystal sconces, and a chandelier in the foyer. brbrA jetted hot tub off of the Primary Suite accommodates up to six people. It is situated on the south-facing flagstone terrace, which overlooks the garden and the ocean, and has four chaise lounges and a large umbrella. The garden lies near the cliff's edge, yet it is fully enclosed. The outdoor dining area seats six, and has a gas grill. Three classic Schwin beach cruiser bicycles, a boogie board, beach chairs, a cooler, a beach umbrella, and beach towels have also been provided. There is a 2 car garage, and parking for three vehicles in the gated motor court. There is an EV charger in the motor court, and ample no-limit street parking is available across the street. brbrInside, the home is equipped with state-of-the-art electronics for entertainment and security throughout. In addition to smoke detectors throughout the house, the fire alarm system is remotely monitored 24 hours a day. There is a modern gas fireplace in the living room, and HD satellite television is available on five flat screen TVs. All of our TVs (46'- 60' in size) are 'smart,' all of our DVDs will accommodate HD and Blu-ray films, four of our satellite boxes have recording capability, and there is a small library of classic films available on DVD. We also provide high-speed internet throughout the house. The Sonos sound system (“every song on earth in every room of your house”) can play the same music or varying music, throughout the house in six different locations. It is controlled with an app on your smart phone. Three landline telephones are available to make local calls. Many board games and a small library of books are available, including several books on local attractions and Santa Barbara history. There are two large workstations: one in the Den, and one in the Primary Bedroom. The other two bedrooms also have task areas.brbrFor the health and comfort of our guests, the home is equipped with a whole house filtered water system and a soft water system. Additionally filtered drinking water is also available in the kitchen. Throughout the house, whenever possible, we select natural cleaning products that are hypoallergenic, free of harsh chemicals and additives, biodegradable, and not tested on animals. There are two conveniently located front-loading washers, and two dryers. We also provide an iron and an ironing board.brbrThe gourmet kitchen has state-of-the-art appliances, dramatic Brazilian soapstone countertops, Italian marble floors, and beautiful dark-wood cabinetry. The home has been decorated to compliment the look and feel of the home and area. The neutral shades work well with our natural and vintage beach décor. Each piece was carefully selected to make this home cozy and comfortable so guests could enjoy their stay in a tranquil setting.brbrThe family room is open and comfortable with a Sofa-U-Love sofa and 46 HD flat screen TV equipped with a Roku device for all your streaming options. The kitchen is completely remodeled and updated with all new stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare your meals. Great natural lighting and counter with bar stools allow family and friends to gather where the action is. Spacious dining room with service for six is just off the kitchen. The two bathrooms were completely remodeled in 2013 with all new, modern fixtures. The master has plenty of closet space with a cushion topped Serta California king mattress and the other 2 bedrooms have the same bed in a queen size. Those 2 rooms also have access to back porch/yard from the bedroom through french doors. All bedrooms are flat panel TV equipped with Roku streaming devices.brbrThe backyard was landscaped in June 2013 with a 400 square foot flagstone patio, lush palms and Santa Barbara native foliage. An 8'x10' pergola provides ample shade for our patio table that comfortably seats six. A second patio table with seating for 4 can be found in our front yard garden. Guests can challenge one another to a friendly game of ping pong on our outdoor Kettler table. A new grilling 'station', complete with overhead market umbrella and four burner gas grill lets you BBQ in style. The setting is completed with a propane space heater (for those cool Santa Barbara evenings) and a couple of comfortable lounge chairs.brbrThe detached garage has been converted into a game room straight from your youth (if you're a child of the '80's, that is) with over a half dozen original, full size classic arcade games including Pac-Man and Donkey Kong (no quarters necessary!) A front loading washer/dryer is also available to clean up after your jaunts to the beach. If you'd like to use our Electra cruisers to get around town they are available for rent. The front porch is a great place to hang out and if you prefer more privacy, the back yard is very private and peaceful.brbrDowntown Santa Barbara is an easy 4-5 blocks away. State Street is know for it's shopping and dining so you have everything you need. The Daily Grind is just around the corner so you don't have to go far for your espresso coffee.
