Just a 20-minute drive from the Grand Canyon National Park means you can arrive in time to see the sunrise or sunset. We also recommend checking out other nearby attractions, including: Bearizona in Williams or Downtown Flagstaff. The area you are in is 1 mile down a gravel road in a rural area. Uber and Lyft are offered inside Grand Canyon National Park.brbrThe location is in between the city of Williams, AZ, and the Grand Canyon South Rim. During winter months, it does snow, but most of the time the road is still drivable, even in cars. It’s located inside a mobile home park that has streetlights and is fenced in, but the area around the mobile home park is desolate and old. However, with it being so isolated, star gazing is highly recommended while you stay with us. There is a gas station 5 miles from the location that sells small amounts of produce and snacks. We do not have kitchens, but we suggest bringing food with you because there aren’t many options nearby besides the gas station and small restaurant 5 miles away from the property. We have charcoal BBQ pits, gazebos, and picnic tables around the property for guests to use. If there are any problems with the room, please message me through the booking platform, as it’s the fastest way to receive a response. At mile marker 219, turn right on Woodland Ranch Rd. Drive 3 miles, then turn left on Horizon Star Rd. After 1/4 mile, turn left into our driveway.brbr - Road Conditions: Our property sits on 30 acres of peaceful, off-grid desert landscape, which means the final stretch to reach us includes unpaved ranch roads. These roads are typical for rural Northern Arizona, mostly packed dirt and gravel with some naturally uneven sections.brTo ensure a smooth arrival:brAny standard vehicle can reach the property in normal weather. Guests arrive in sedans, compact cars, and SUVs every week. You do not need a 4x4.brDrive slowly and take your time on the last 3–4 miles. The road is bumpy in spots due to the natural terrain, but going around 10 mph makes it very manageable.brWeather note: After heavy rain or winter storms, the road may be softer in some areas.brMost guests describe the drive as “part of the adventure” and love how the remote setting adds to the experience once they arrive. brbr - On Arrival: Continue along the gravel road another 1/4 mile until you reach two shipping containers. Park in the designated area, where your camp host will greet you and escort you to your dome.brbr - Parking: Free parking is provided onsite.brbr Dome 2 is styled with warm desert tones and cozy textures, creating a welcoming retreat after a day at the Grand Canyon. The centerpiece is a queen bed dressed in soft linens and a colorful Southwestern blanket, complemented by a twin daybed with a pull-out trundle—perfect for families or friends traveling together.brbrNatural light filters through the floor-to-ceiling curtains, brightening the spacious dome and highlighting details like the cowhide rug, wood floors, and woven textiles. A pair of chairs and a side table provide a comfortable sitting area, while a dresser and open wardrobe add convenient storage. The thoughtful layout balances rustic character with modern comfort, making the space both practical and inviting
