Sunrise Ski Resort is just a 45-minute drive – opposite direction from the crowds coming in from Pinetop means little traffic to get stuck in. Wonderful cross-country trails within a few minutes’ drive - or right out the door if the snow is good. Don’t forget your hiking boots, fishing poles, swimming suits, canoes, mountain bikes or snowboards! brNot an adventurer? Curl up next to the wood burning stove with a blanket or in a comfy chair on the patio with a good book, but don’t be alarmed by all the quiet!brThe area:brAlpine is one of the most beautiful places in Arizona and one of the best kept secrets. We are less than one mile from some great local bars and restaurants, and the historic general store. Lakes, hiking trails, horseback riding, ATV trails also close by, and we are less than one hour from Sunrise Ski Resort where you can enjoy skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer.
