We are centrally located right in the village and on the Okemo Mountain Ski Shuttle Line. We are walking distance to all Main Street shops, restaurants, grocery store, liquor store, gas station and so much more! brbrWhen you pull into our driveway, you will walk up to our lovely new trex deck with a custom designed privacy fence and all brand new amenities and furnishings. You will find our new 8 person Jacuzzi hot tub, propane fire pit with four Polywood Adirondack chairs, outdoor dining table for eight and a four burner Weber Genesis II grill. We also have string bistro lights across the deck and front porch which make for cozy outdoor ambiance. brbrYou'll enter through our back door with a private code, keyless entry into our mud room. Our mud room has ski racks, coat hooks, weatherproof shoe bins, storage baskets, multiple benches, towels for the hot tub and four ski boot and glove dryers. brbrFrom there, you will enter our newly updated, eat-in kitchen which is fully stocked with all the appliances and tools you'll need to prepare your meals, including our favorite All-Clad pots and pans! We have a drip coffee machine with ground Vermont coffee, a Keurig and Nespresso with pods, both an electric and stove top tea kettles with green tea bags. brbrRight off the kitchen is a powder bath with a washer and dryer. We provide detergent and bleach for your wash. brbrFrom the kitchen you'll enter our dining room with seating for eight. The dining room features a custom mural wall from a local artist, highlighting our Homme Girls brand and the ever awesome, local Ludlow vibe! The dining room has a buffet with barware utensils, a wine rack, family and adult games inside, and hanging on the wall is our custom designed Shotski! brbrFrom the dining room, you'll enter our family room with a wall-mounted smart TV. Adjacent to the family room, is our adored sitting room with a Potterybarn pull-out couch and cane back chairs. The original moldings from when the home was built in 1900 frame this very special and very cozy spot. This is also where you'll find the front door of our home which leads to a porch with four wicker chairs and two cocktail tables. Enjoy your morning coffee or happy hour cocktail overlooking Okemo Mountain. brbrApproaching the second floor, you'll find an original stained glass window which we love so much. As you'll quickly come to realize, all of our bedrooms are named after trails at Okemo Mountain.brbr Sachem, our full size bedroom with a custom barn door and deep green accent wall is on your right. I'll let you in on a little secret...this room has the best view in the house - Okemo mountain! brbr World Cup is our bedroom with two matching twin beds, Moonshadow is our queen bedroom with the black accent wall and abstract artwork hanging on the original plaster walls. brbrJust past the full bathroom on the second floor, is our Sidewinder queen bedroom. It lives up to it's name with it's charming slanted ceilings and closet. Inside Sidewinder is an additional bedroom which we call our bonus room! It houses a twin bed and also has room for another child size blow up mattress (which we keep in the closet.) This is the perfect set up for family or friends who want to share a space or a convenient and quiet spot for your little ones! brbrAnd last but certainly not least, Upper Chief is our third floor master suite. There are two large closets, a full bathroom, the coziest King size bed, and a desk for your journaling or work from home needs! On either side of the desk is the loveliest houndstooth chairs. For your convenience, we also added a Keurig machine to our Master Suite for those who need an immediate caffeine boost in the morning (we know we do...!) brbrEvery bedroom has pull down light-blocking shades, sound machines and personal fans -- as we know some guests like a dark room, white noise and cool air for a wonderful nights sleep!brbrBetween us three sisters, we have 8 children! With the little ones in mind, we have a crib, crib sheets, a high chair and an UppaBaby Umbrella Stroller upon request. We also have toddler appropriate toys, child flatware and dishes, a changing pad, Baby Bjorn bouncer, The Original Flower Bath Seat for Newborns, and given we only have showers in our home, we also provide a Stokke pop up bath that toddlers love!brbrThere is enough driveway parking space for up to 3 large SUVs.brbrThere are SO many fun things to do in Ludlow and the surrounding areas of Southern Vermont! Whether you're an avid skier that craves first tracks down to the Sunburst Six chairlift or someone who enjoys a slower paced morning and skiing home for a leisurely lunch, our Okemo Trailside condo serves as a welcoming home base. brbrLocated just steps from the green beginner Sachem trail, our end unit townhouse encompasses three floors. The entrance is on the main floor and includes a generous sized mudroom with cubbies, hooks and bench space. The main floor has an open layout with hardwood floors, a large sectional, wood burning fireplace, dining table, kitchen and half bath. The upstairs level holds a lofted bedroom with king bed and a full bathroom. The downstairs level has an additional bedroom with a full bed as well as a third bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. This level also has a full bathroom and playroom with a couch, foosball table and plenty of board games. A laundry room with a washer and dryer is also available for use. brbrNew wall to wall carpeting was installed in the loft, stairs and entire lower level in October 2023. brbrOutside the front door is a ski locker to store your equipment and within minutes you can be skiing or snowboarding down the Sachem trail. Take the Sunburst six lift to the Okemo Summit (with heated seats and windshield) without any need to ever ski down to the base. Head home for lunch or a break at any time. There's no need to enter a crowded lodge!brbrEnjoy hiking or snowshoeing on the ski trails of Okemo Mountain from right outside your front door. We are a 15-minute drive to Jackson Gore with the ice-skating rink, snow tubing park, and Timber Ripper mountain coaster. Day passes can also be purchased through Okemo for access to the Spring House with its indoor pool and exercise facilities. brbrIn the summer, enjoy the beautiful field stone pool and tennis court, or make your way to Okemo's Adventure Zone for a round of mini-golf or trip around the ropes course. There are also many wonderful hiking trails, lakes and waterfalls nearby -- and wonderful fall foliage. brbrThe kitchen comes stocked with pots, pans, utensils, serving platters, dishes and storage containers. The dining room table seats 8 with room to spread out at the breakfast bar. After dinner, start a puzzle by the fire or enjoy a movie on the flat screen tv. The layout makes it a great option for families; a pack and play is also available. brbrThis is our second home and not just a rental with guests in and out every week. Our children participated in the Okemo racing program for years and we've just started to offer it for other families to enjoy. The location of our unit is hard to beat. Please see photos for view to Sachem Trail from our front door. br brThat said, we hope that you will treat our Vermont house as you would your own home. With the new carpets (October 2023), we request that you remove shoes in the mudroom prior to entering the main living space. The unit is always rigorously cleaned however we encourage guests to wipe down high touch surfaces throughout their stay. All linens and towels are provided. brbrWhile there is a hot tub on the outside deck and indoor sauna, neither are available for use by renters. At our discretion, the hot tub may be made available to longer term rentals for an additional charge to cover post rental cleaning / maintenance including water replacement, chemicals, etc. brbrThis is a non-smoking, pet-free property. Renters need to purchase the additional insurance policy through VRBO and must be 25 years or older to rent.
