Practically a private beach in the off season. Water is clearer and bluer than that in the City of Galveston due to offshore blue Gulf waters coming into San Luis Pass with the tides. Although sand beaches come and go in front of the house, there is always sand beach along the pass toward the bridge and, in the other direction, there is extensive beach that extends all the way to Surfside. Beaches in front will accrete in the summer and slowly erode in winter. Horseback riding available 15 min. away. brEditbrbr*We have two security cameras mounted underneath the beach house. One facing the street and one facing the ocean. They are used solely for identifying suspicious activity outside of guest reservations. Only the areas underneath the house are viewable from the cameras.

You will love the natural sunlight filling the house thanks to the large windows on both sides of the common area rooms. Wood floors and exposed ceiling beams compliment the updated kitchen. Washer and dryer available onsite for your use. The large top floor deck has a gas grill, (4) lounge chairs, and a lighted pergola with a sectional couch and corner bar layout. On the ground level there is a large covered area under the house and deck to relax and get a reprieve from the midday sun. There is also a ~40ft fishing dock with two large benches and a firepit. If you decide to bring your own boat, there are cleats installed to tie off on the dock or in the open covered slip. We also have a lighted fish cleaning table with sink…be sure to bring your filet knife!brbrGuest accessbrThe entire living space and deck are on the top floor of the home. The middle and bottom floors are for owner storage only and not included in the rental. This area really meant for kids! There is small TV room downstairs with a pull out couch! There is a get away spot to read on a porch upstairs!brbrThe house boasts a boat slip and a beautiful pool! There is also a 1/2 bath downstairs! There is a grill-- everything you would need for a family to have fun! This house also has a mosquito sprayer so you don't get eaten alive by mosquitos! Also on the first floor is a full bathroom with rain shower head. brStreaming is available as well as wireless internet. 5G service is available here so you can stay connected!
