The Space:

This cozy beach house located within steps to the beach and walking distance to the Jetty's is ready to host you and your family! This is a wonderful space for families, girls trips or couples retreats as it offers 2 full bathrooms and 3 large bedrooms to accompany multiple guests and families. THe Mermaid Cove boasts a modern open floor plan, large decks, and great views. After you are done enjoying the beautifully furnished home, escaped to the newly remodeled deck to watch the sunset, or even enjoy coffee during the sunrise. Want to cruise the island Golf cart rentals are within walking distance of this property. You can also easily walk to the Jetty Shack for lunch, or local surf shops near the property for board rentals!



BEACH: This property is located near the pedestrian beach! No need to worry about vehicular traffic (including golf carts) during your time at the beach. Thunder Street begins the pedestrian beach where most of the locals hang out! It is also a great surf spot and has a jetty view.



FISHING: The jetties are a 5-minute walk from the property. Check out the locals fishing, take a walk down the jetties through the ocean, or take the kids to enjoy the brand-new Jetty Park. PRO TIP - grab a burger at the Jetty Shack and have a picnic in the park.



Guest Access:

Guests will have the entire property to themselves. This property is self check in. You will not have to interact with the hosts during your stay. Please feel free to message us anytime during your stay and we will be available to assist you!



Other Things to Note:

- We highly advise guests purchase travel insurance during Hurricane Season. Hurricane season is June 1 - November 31st. If your reservation is affected due to a natural disaster, you will be able to reschedule your dates penalty free, but we will not issue full refunds.

- Please bring mosquito spray while vacationing to the gulf coast. Mosquitoes are part of the gulf coast climate and while we do our best to maintain the yard to help mitigate mosquitos, we cannot control them.

- There is NOT a grill on-site. If you would like to bring a small travel grill with you, you can but DO NOT put it on the deck. Grills should only ever be downstairs.

-Early Check In/Late Check out is not available in the summer season. Please do not ask. It is available in the off season (After labor day and prior to memorial day) for an additional 50 dollars upon approval this is only valid 24 hours prior to your check in date if there is not a same day turn over. Please note -Any guests that are not granted late check out and do not check out by the checkout time will be charged the additional fee.

-We are on the City of Surfside’s water. There can be an occasional sulphur smell and yellow tint. The water is safe, however, we still recommend bringing drinking water and ice.

-Pet Policy Pet Fee: $115 for up to 2 dogs

Additional Dogs: $75 per dog

Maximum number of dogs may apply and must be approved before arrival

Dogs only – No cats or other animals are permitted
