Bordering Cosby Creek with about 1500ft of creek frontage where you can fish and relax in the creek.brbrInside the loft, you go upstairs to an open concept bedroom/kitchen area. The living room has a flat screen TV. There is also a sitting area where you can use your computer or play games. The Cosby Creek is just a short walk away. We also have an outdoor fireplace.brbrYou will be able to access the creek. We ask that you do not enter any other of our glamping spots. No one else has access to your dome.brbrThe main level of the dome consists of calming blues with mountain boho vibes— a bedroom (king bed), living room with a sofa & chaise, comfy chairs, coffee table, smart TV and an entire wall of windows that look out onto sun-dappled creek. Additionally, you'll find a dining table that seats 6, fully-equipped kitchen and the bathroom with a double vanity, flushing toilet, and tub/shower you may never want to leave. Upstairs in the loft you’ll find a queen bed and sleeper chair for a recommended capacity of up to 6 guests.brbrOutside next to the creek is a round dining table with chairs, fire pit with comfy gliders, a hammock, and fire pit with firewood provided (no fire starter).brbrOur address is 910 Windy Hill Way, Cosby, TN 37722 but we have found GPS sometimes falls short as you get close. There are many possible routes to get to Wanderlust Woods, some of which are one-lane roads that we do not recommend.brbrDue to the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, we suggest that you access our property from US-321 / TN-32 (aka E. Parkway from Gatlinburg). brbrIf coming from I-40, take exit 435 onto TN-32 S. In 5.5 miles turn right onto US-321 S and then left to stay on 321 S. Continue straight for almost 10 miles when you will turn left on Trail Hollow Road (there is a sign for Chestnut Baptist Church on this corner).brbrFollow Trail Hollow Road for about 1 mile and turn left onto Phillips Road. (Be mindful that Trail Hollow Road makes a sharp, 90 degree left turn, about half way to Phillips Road.) Once you turn onto Phillips Road you will pass a house on your right. Take the first right onto Windy Hill Way. This is our road. You will pass two neighbors' driveways on the left and go all the way to the end where you will see our large wooden sign and Wanderlust Woods is just over the bridge.brbrYou will also want to take a look at the Guide with your check-in instructions for how to access your glamping spot (after filling out the pre-arrival form)brbrWe don’t have great cell reception at the property, so make sure you screenshot the directions and check in instructions ahead of time or log into our Wi-Fi when you get to the bridge. You can set up Wi-Fi calling on your phones in order to stay in touch with family and friends while you’re glamping.brbrWe will offer directions that avoid the worst roads but you will encounter gravel and a few ruts coming into the property. Any vehicle can make it fine when taking it slow but a larger vehicle with higher clearance is preferred. Only in winter when there is snow and ice is 4wd required.brbrWe provide coffee, creamer, sugar, snacks, plus all the bedding, towels, soap, TP, etc that you’ll need for your stay.brbrThe Cosby entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is 3 mi in one direction, rafting on the Pigeon River is 3 mi in another direction, and we can show you some beautiful fishing spots for bass & trout less than 3 miles from our place.brbrThe following does NOT apply to reservations made on Airbnb (who has their own vetting & resolution process). For all other booking platforms, guests are required to complete our pre-arrival process including a photo of a valid ID, signing our rental conditions, and submitting a valid credit or debit card to be pre-approved for a security deposit (card will not be charged just authorized in case of damage or rule violation). Its design maximizes, enjoying the incredible views of the mountains from every room. It is ideally located close to white water rafting, zip-lining, hiking, and scenic drives. It is within driving distance of the cities of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and Asheville and Hot Springs, North Carolina. The FootHills Parkway can be seen from the property. This cabin was hand-built by the owners and their family and friends. brbrIn this authentic log cabin, you will find spectacular views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Cherokee National Forest. 8-foot tall windows and sliding glass doors draw your gaze to an ever-changing scenery sure to amaze you any time of year. br brThe master bedroom is on the 1st floor, has a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has a shower that has its own entrance and privacy door that allows the bathroom and shower to be occupied separately. The second floor has a bedroom with a queen bed and a loft with a double-sized futon and a rollaway bed. br brThe open space concept living area features the kitchen, living room, and dining room. The full kitchen features a 6 burner gas stove, dishwasher, and farm sink. The dining space has a large eight-person table that is usable with the open living room. The living room has a reclining sofa, a seven-foot sofa, and a large love seat. The cabin is designed around huge windows that allow you to enjoy the beauty of the mountains from any room in the house. br brThe wide, wrap-around porches are perfect for drinking coffee in the morning, grilling out in the evening, or soaking in the hot tub any time of day. Can’t-miss sunrises, sunsets, and cloud formations over the mountain peaks will keep you riveted. There is a wood-burning fireplace on the deck. Good thing there’s plenty of rocking chairs to enjoy from any side of the house!br brThe backyard features a large fire pit and a picnic table. The property is on one acre of a three acre plot shared by another vacation rental cabin that we own. There is room to walk around and explore the wooded areas on three sides of the cabin. The cabin is in a neighborhood but you will feel isolated especially in the summertime when you can barely see the neighbors through the trees. The road circles around the neighborhood and makes for a nice walk almost any time of the year.brbrSince there is no trash service out here in the mountains, it is expected for guests to remove and dispose of the trash generated. Trash left outside attract wild animals. For your convenience, there are two trash disposal sites close to the cabin. You will pass one as you come and go to Gatlinburg on 321 and one as you get on I-40 on Wilton Springs Road. The signs say only Cocke county residents, and this trash is generated in Cocke and can be disposed of there. If you leave on a Sunday or holiday, you may leave one bag of trash for the cleaners to remove.br
