The beach, the pier, and BLU, the only ocean front restaurant and bar in the Charleston area, are within easy walking distance (2-5 blocks). Center Street's restaurants and shops are just two blocks away. Downtown Charleston, with its historic architecture, carriage rides, museums, and fine dinning is less than 20 minutes away as well. brbrThe home itself is just as ideal as its location. The spacious back deck boasts a large dinning table in addition to a relaxing sitting area. The back yard is a private area that is perfect for horseshoes, croquet, or a game of kick-ball. From the backyard, take a walk down the boardwalk through the marsh to a small private island that boasts a hammock and a lovely playhouse. From the island, stroll down the dock right out to the Folly River. The dock is outfitted with a table and chairs, which makes it the perfect place for sunset drinks or a lunch-time swim.
