This home is 45 minutes from Savannah, GA, 60 minutes from Charleston, SC and close to Bluffton and Hilton Head Island too. This home is truly central to it all! brbrOffering 3 bedrooms (sleeps 7-9) and 2 full baths. The Master Bedroom has a king bed and en suite bath with custom tiled walk in shower with bench, bedroom 2 offers a queen bed, and bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds with a trundle bed also. An air mattress is also provided just in case a few more come along. All linens, pillows, and towels are provided for your use.brbrOpen floor plan and the huge kitchen island are made for entertaining your family or group. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook and entertain including a crock pot, and a large stock pot for the local favorite - Frogmore Stew (no, there are no frogs in it!) The Sands Beach area, a local favorite destination is only a half mile from the house. It includes a small local beach on the Port Royal Sound, perfect for sunbathing and looking for shark's teeth. There is also a public boat launch, boardwalk and observation tower that overlooks Port Royal Sound and Parris Island. One block from the home is the Cypress Wetlands nature sanctuary with its walking trails and boardwalk. Port Royal offers several unique shops, restaurants, and a wonderful gourmet coffee shop, all within walking distance from the house. We are a 3 minute drive to Parris Island, 4 minutes to walking and biking on the Spanish Moss Trail. There is also a large stock pot for cooking up Frogmore stew or your favorite soup. There are plenty of dishes, cups and flatware. There is a microwave and dishwasher. We also have measuring cups and spoons, cutting knives and a pizza pan. brLAUNDRY ROOM: Washer and dryer are available if needed as well as laundry detergent and cleaning supplies. This is also where you will find a first aid kit and some games to play when you are kicking back and relaxing.br BEDROOM 1: Comfortable Queen bed with a private bath. TV, comfortable chair and closet. Located on ground floor. You will also find an iron and ironing board in the closet as well as hangers to hang your clothes. There is nothing like sitting on acomfortable chair and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning while breathing in the fresh lowcountry air. brCANCELLATION POLICY: If something happens and you need to postpone your dates, we can move you to a later date as long as the house is still available . If you cancel completely you will receive a full refund of accommodation fees if cancellation is made five full days prior to your 4:00 check in time on the day you were scheduled to check in. If you need to cancel less than 5 days in advance, the first night is non-refundable but 50% of the accommodation fees for the remaining nights will be refunded. If you arrive and decide to leave early, 50% of the accommodation fees for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
