Sailor's Cove is located on Lake Keowee, SC, minutes from downtown Seneca and 7 miles from the Clemson Campus. This 2,500 square foot lakefront home has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and a large covered dock with deep water. Plenty of space for lounging and swimming for family and friends. brbrIt can sleep 8 people comfortably. The main living area is a large open space with cathedral ceilings. The spacious kitchen has a large pantry and a breakfast bar as well as a small dining table. This opens up to the den area with plenty of comfortable seating including a large dining table. This main level also has 3 bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed, separate bath, and deck access. The two other bedrooms on this level include one with queen bed and the other with 2 twins. These two bedrooms share the 2nd main level bath. brbrMain Level: Within the main living area there are three bedrooms. The master suite includes a separate bath and sliding glass door to the deck. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with plenty of closet space. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds and a large closet. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share the bathroom on this level. Each bedroom has it's own TV. There is plenty of seating in the main living area with sofa, loveseat, 2 chairs and a large dining room table. The spacious kitchen has a large pantry with a small table and a breakfast bar. Off the living area is a large screened porch overlooking the lake and deck with gas grill. For your convenience, there is wireless high speed internet available throughout the house. brbrLower Level: The lower level of the home has another den area with a sofa and loveseat as well as 2 bunk beds, double on the bottom and twin on top. There is also a bedroom with a queen bed and large closet. The bathroom on this level is centrally located for the bedroom and den. There is a sliding glass door leading out to the lower level walkway to the water. There is an outdoor shower just outside this level. brbrOutside: This home is located on a quiet, no wake zone cove, perfect for fishing and swimming. There is a large covered dock with plenty of area for lounging and swimming including an easy access walk down ladder to easily get in and out of the water. The dock has covered overhangs on both sides, so you always have the choice to either sit in the sun or shade. There are several chairs for your use on the dock. There is enough space on the dock for 2 boats. This is a no-wake cove, so boat traffic is minimal. There are 2 kayaks for your use as well. The main house has 8 bedrooms and 5 ½ baths, with the owner's suite (Master) on the main. ***The apartment over the garage that is NO LONGER available.*** All of the bedrooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. brbrThe gourmet kitchen was built for a CHEF - features include a nine-foot island with a prep-sink, double oven, a five-burner gas cook top, and a pasta faucet. The dining room has 2 large circular tables. Each table has a lazy Susan and can seat 8 to 10, plus there is counter seating for four. Also, there is a small wet bar with an ice machine close by! The spacious deck has two picnic tables for enjoying lunch outdoors in wet bathing suits. The picnic tables can seat 12 to 16 kids/adults, and are less than 10 feet from the kitchen. brbrA fixed, covered wooden dock with attached gazebo overlooking the lake and three undeveloped islands, offering peaceful serenity. In addition to a swing, the dock has a water hose and power is available. The 18,000 acres of water and a 300-mile shoreline make Lake Keowee a popular place for boating, fishing, water-skiing, swimming, camping and picnicing. There is a public boat ramp a few minutes away, so you are welcome to bring your boat and leave it at our dock. The house also has two kayaks to explore the pristine lake with all of its natural beauty. brbrThe backyard has a level playing area with room for volleyball, three-legged races and other activities for the children. Large hammock for watching the late night stars. Below the level playing area, the backyard gently slopes down to the lake. The driveway has ample space for ten cars. Situated on a wooded hilltop, this home gives you a private mountain house feel with view of campus. Amenities such as a grocery store (Aldi), restaurants (Starbucks, Tipsy Taco, Five Guys, Lakeside Lodge’s Traditions, etc.), and shops (Marshalls, Five Below, Ulta, Mr. Knickerbockers, etc.) are a one-stoplight drive from the house. Across the cove from the house is the undeveloped Clemson Experimental Forest, providing peaceful views where it is common to hear turkeys gobble, spot nesting blue herons, and watch bald eagles catch fish. Once you leave the cove by boat, you will see Clemson’s campus, football stadium, and the big water of Lake Hartwell. The Clemson Marina is located outside of the cove as well and offers a restaurant, bar, and boat rental services. This dock has a 7000 pound boat lift and two jet ski ports, and is available for your private use for the duration of your stay. The cove has a big water views, but is recessed enough so there are very fews waves and little boat traffic. Perfect for floating in the water or lounging on the dock!brThere are also chairs by the lake for relaxing and watching the action.
