Sunny Side Up is a duplex located steps from Center Street, the main hub of Folly Beach, where you can find all the local shops, restaurants and bars, and the beach is just a short three blocks away. The entrance to the shared backyard is located between the store called Native and the pay to park lot on W Erie, just down a short pathway and behind the privacy fence (see photo with the sign on the fence that reads Sunny Side Up and Down). Though this location is located directly on Center St, you still have 1 designated parking spot that the owner has obtained for you just across the street, down E Erie, behind the Crab Shack.

Sunny Side Up features two bedrooms, each one with a queen bed. Each bedroom is equipped with a Smart TV and a fan. Sunny Side Down can comfortably sleep up to 5 people because the sofa conveniently slides out to accommodate an additional person.

Open concept kitchen/dining/living is equipped with a sofa, two club chairs and a high top dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped, less a dishwasher. Outdoors, guests can relax and have a drink on the deck or enjoy the shared courtyard area with a full size grill, outdoor lounge furniture, and an outdoor shower. The private yard is fenced-in and the duplex does allow you to bring your dogs with you, upon approval with our office. Please note: there is one designated parking spot for guests of Sunny Side Down located just across the other side of Center Street.

This is a green property that features solar panels on the roof, all LED lights, and use natural gas for the water heater. It is also a ground level property, making it a great choice for guests who have trouble with stairs.

Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historic exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25 - minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island!

Contactless Check-In: This home offers a keyless entry system, and we will provide the code before your arrival date.
We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am.
The Folly Beach noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 8 am.
Parking: There is a designated parking spot for guests of Sunny Side Up located just across the other side of Center Street. You will take the gravel driveway that goes directly behind the Crab Shack restaurant, and there is a labeled spot for Sunny Side up- right next to the Crab Shack parking lot.
This is a non-smoking property.
Pets considered: All pets must be approved by our office before you arrive. Upon approval there is a $150 (plus tax) per pet non refundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your pet with you (2 pet max, 60 lb max per pet, no puppies under 1 year old, no cats). Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees prior to arrival.
No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
The occupancy can be at most 5 people at any time during your stay.
We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking.

22 miles to Charleston Airport.
This property is located near Downtown Folly Beach, close to all of the restaurants and nightlife. Normally quiet hours start at 10pm, but are extended to 11pm on weekends.

To comply with Folly Beach's new strict noise ordinance, we now use noise sensors in our properties. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels, is 100% privacy compliant, and does not listen or record. If the noise level exceeds the legal limit for FB, you will receive a friendly reminder text message to turn the noise down. This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in fines and revoke the homeowner's business license.

Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. However, we are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.

    Very clean, organized space! I loved being on the top unit. This was an amazing location for my first trip to folly. I really enjoyed walking to all the restaurants and shops. The beach was just a short walk away as well. It was a wonderful long weekend!

    Super central point ! Perfect walking distance to everything you need . Shopping, couple blocks to the beach, restaurants and dog friendly which my family needs.     Location was perfect! Centralized to the beach and the restaurants/shops in Folly. VRBO was clean. There were some outlets that did not work and the address is not clearly visible on building, but overall it was a great experience!

    Beautiful and cozy. Exactly what we needed as far as comfort and space. Very clean except for roach and roach remnants in a bowl in cabinet. Very convenient due to the short walk to beach and pier as well as surrounding restaurants.

    We enjoyed staying in the property very much. The condo was a great size for our needs. The location was close enough to the beach, restaurants, and shops for us to walk to. The greatest difficulty was finding the location of the property because it was tucked behind another business with no street-side sign. Also, the biggest disappointment and the most frustrating part was that our parking space was across the street, down an alley behind a restaurant. This made unloading and loading our belongings very difficult and annoying. If we had known this part up front, we probably would not have booked this property even though the inside was comfy, clean, and a good size for us.
