Built to accommodate our large extended family, it is ideal for family gatherings and reunions, yet intimate enough for small groups. Hikers will enjoy easy access to the nearby Mountain Bridge nature trails, and bikers will enjoy the Caesar's Head mountain biking challenge.brbrThe main floor (wheelchair accessible) is a great place for games, movies, reading, conversation or making music. This floor features 2 bedrooms (4 queen beds) and 2.5 baths. Features include an open living area with wood burning fireplace and smart tv with Direct tv access, an atrium featuring a grand piano and breath taking mountain views on three sides of the room. The dining area features seating for 12+. A spacious, well-equipped kitchen features stainless appliances including gas range, dishwasher, 3-door refrigerator, and counter top microwave, ample dinner ware, pots, pans, flat ware, etc. brbrAlso on the main level is a lovely screen porch with lots of seating and open deck featuring a hot tub overlooking mountain vistas.brbrThe second floor features 3 bedrooms(1 queen, 2 doubles, 4 singles-with 2 trundles, 1 crib), 2 baths, and a separate den with gas log fireplace and tv with Direct TV access. Community features available to guests include: 3 swimming pools, a fishing lake w/ canoes and paddle boat, tennis courts (lined for pickle ball), and 12 miles of quiet wooded roadways for jogging or walking. There is a household golf-cart included for rentals with 4 nights or more. This large family house is surrounded by the Mountain Bridge wilderness area. Hiking only minutes away at Caesar's Head State Park and Raven Cliff Falls. A short drive brings you to Dupont State Forest, Brevard, and Pisgah National Forest for hiking, shopping, and restaurants. Pretty Place at YMCA Camp Greenville is also a short drive from this home. Rent during May and June and see the Blue Ghost Fireflies off the back deck and in the wooded areas along the roads. Bicyclist love the challenge of the climb of Geer hwy and we sit right on the road up. You could not have picked a location that was so convenient to many of the upstate’s most incredible outdoor destinations. Our goal is to ensure that your stay with us will exceed all your expectations. Our Creekside Cabin is a mix of off grid camping while still providing all the comforts of home. You will stay in a 168 sq ft cabin which is a heated and cooled space for sleeping and hanging out. The inside comes equipped with a flat screen tv, small refrigerator, kuerig cofee maker and a toaster oven and a cabinet stocked with cooking utensils, plates and silverware. Your cooking will mostly be done outside so we provide a charcoal grill (charcoal and lighter fluid provided) an aenvoy wood fired stove for your cooktop and a kitchen sink with 10 gallons of fresh water. The bathroom is split up with a pit toilet about 50 yards away and an outdoor shower stream fed, with a joolca instant hot water heater right outside the cabin. For dining and hanging out we have a picnic table under a covered gazebo with light and ceiling fan. For relaxation and enjoyment outside we have a horseshoe pit, cornhole and a hammock. There is a great spot to set up the hammock down by the stream at the fire pit. brbr

There's a large screened porch (32' x 8'), and a smaller deck with charcoal grill and fire pit. Still a work in progress. Secluded in the woods but very close to several state parks with fishing, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, scenic overlooks, canoeing & kayaking, and hiking areas. Very woodsy and peaceful.brbrBe sure to bring your groceries with you. There is a Dollar General about 3 miles away with some food items, and a very nice Ingle's about 12 miles north on Hwy. 11.brbrIf you bring a pet it is required that you text me a picture of your baby(ies) inside the cottage. There is a mandatory $20 pet fee, and an additional $20 will be charged to your account if any accidents are left inside, or on the porch and deck. Yes, people have done that.brbrPlease note - This is pet-friendly cottage, and most of our guests bring their dogs to visit. We diligently clean between each guest and try to make sure all surfaces are clean of pet hair. Sometimes, we may fall short. If any kind of pet hair is a problem for you and not to your liking, this may not be the cottage for you.brbrThere is no mandatory cleaning fee, but guests are encouraged to leave a tip for the cleaning staff, especially if you stay multiple nights, or are extra messy. brbrNote: The ceilings in the living areas are low and under the lofts in the shed. If you're tall, it may feel a little cramped.brbrCosmetic updates are being done so there is a bit of clutter at one end of the screened porch. All of the amenities are good, though.
