If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. This custom “bunk” room has 4 custom bunks each with their own sconce for cozy reading. Each bunk also houses a trundle bed, making this room comfortable to sleep 8 total. There is also two shelves of new children’s books and two leather chairs to enjoy. brbr brbrUpstairs also has a loft with seating area and wet bar. The upstairs also has a full bathroom with tub. brbr brbrThe Outdoor Space brbrThe main living area opens to a massive concrete patio with large table, bistro table, lounge chair and hammock. Also, on the patio is a large 6-8 person hot tub with guest flip flops all for your use. From here you can take in the beauty of your private view of the forest and pond. A step from the patio will take you to a bonfire and horseshoe area with Adirondack furniture and a large fire pit with surrounding bistro lights. From here you can walk over the bridge to walk the trails to the creeks, treehouse, pond, island swing or dock. There is a small canoe with oars provided for smaller guests. The private pond is stocked with over 300 rainbow trout. Catch and release fishing is permitted if done humanely as they are our pets. Fish are growing, and will fishable by summer! Note: fish are limited right now due to bird / otter predators! brbr brbr★ Hot tub *We strive to make sure hot tubs are working at all times. Set at the end of a quiet, forested street just off Hwy 26, this cozy cabin offers solitude surrounded by majestic beauty. With a rustic wood and handmade tile interior, the cabin has a classic feel with modern convenience. Outside, the mountains offer visual serenity, and the river creates a dreamy audio ambiance that drowns out road noise and makes it an ideal space to truly get away.brbrThis cabin was handbuilt in 1973 by a Pacific Northwest stoneware artist and contains many special treatments throughout. Inside, there is plenty of seating downstairs - leather swivel chairs, one small sofa, a round 3-4 person table that overlooks the river and mountains, and a 12-foot long dining table. Heat is supplied via baseboard heaters downstairs and wall heaters upstairs. The cabin has Wifi, newer carpet, 55 Samsung SmartTV, and a turntable with two boxes of vinyl. We also have a fully-stocked kitchen along with spices and condiments. There is a large fireplace, too, and we supply a generous bundle to get it going.brbrOutside, the Zig Zag River flows over rocks and an ancient log that creates a natural fall, and the property is comprised of three lots with big trees and native plants and there are many sit and relax options. The upper deck, immediately outside of the bedroom loft, has a couple of chairs and amazing views. The lower deck has perimeter bench seating, a 4-person patio set, and a gas grill. At different points along the river are a hammock (in summer), gliding bench, and moveable chairs. If you want to go for a stroll, there is a path leading east (upstream) from the property that enters the Mt. Hood National Forest and has direct access to the clean running Zig Zag River. Downstream a few hundred yards is the confluence of the Zig Zag and Sandy Rivers, and you can access the river by foot and witness the silty Sandy mix with the clear Zig Zag; it's quite a natural spectacle. br brOur cabin may be a bit more expensive than comparably sized cabins in the area, but the specific location is very unique with easy access yet no road noise. And we've recently re-furnished with new carpet, blinds, seating, furniture, shower, bathroom fixtures, beds, linens, and more.brbrGroceries, dining, and hiking are all just a few minutes away!brbrYou have access to the entire house and property with the exception of closets, workshop, outhouse/storage shed and woodpile. There are storage shelves in the downstairs hallway and a clothes dresser and hanging rod in the upstairs bedroom.brbrWe are not on-site, however, we are available via phone/text 24/7, and are happy to answer any questions you may have before or during your stay. The folks who clean the cabin live nearby and are sometimes available should you need in-person assistance.

A hop and skip over to the Sandy River, and a short drive to everything Mt Hood has to offer! ~No parties~brThe spacebrWe believe this is a very special place and think you will feel the same after visiting.brbrThis charming single-story home/cabin was constructed in 2021. You will have all luxuries of a new kitchen, fast/efficient heat and a comfortable space to spend your time. The beautiful furnishings create an ambiance of casual luxury. brThe home is not huge, but it does feature three spacious bedrooms while two full bathrooms. Plenty of space for multiple families to get together and have privacy when needed. brbrThe kitchen comes fully stocked and ready to be used at your leisure.brbrOur cabin also features Gig internet! For a rural mountain home, it's unbelievable how great the wifi is. Our SmartTV comes with Netflix, however you are also able to log into any services that you may use. brbrSleep in with the quiet neighborhood of Timberline Rim. We also have access to the neighborhood tennis courts, basketball court, and pool (during the summer time). These facilities are shared with the neighborhood. We have no control over when the pool is open or not pending weather and maintenance.brOther things to notebrNeed more space We have two other rentals in the neighborhood!
