Lovely renovated A-frame cabin! Nestled in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees, our cabin is a great place to recharge, escape, and enjoy everything Mt Hood has to offer. Our intent is for our lovely cabin to be a place for people to relax and connect with nature (no tv, but there is wifi), the mountain, and each other. Please be sure to read the full description under The Space section below before booking as there are some pertinent details.brThe spacebrTiny is a quaint cabin nestled in the trees at the edge of Mt Hood. It is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to get out of the hustle and bustle, and connect with nature.brbrWhile the cabin sits on a 1/4 acre, this is NOT a remote location. We do have neighbors, and there are houses around.brbrIt is important to note a few things:br1) This is a minimalist cabin in the woods. There may be some cobwebs. If that is not ok with you, please don't book this cabin, and then leave a review about some cobwebs.br2) Our cleaner is amazing, but with the super tall ceilings, it is impossible for her to keep up with every single cobweb.br3) There are wall electric heaters, but the primary heat source is the wood-burning stove. We provide wood and a hatchet to make kindling. We recommend bringing kindling or fire starters if you are not comfortable using a hatchet. During the winter months, if you are not comfortable making fires in a wood-burning stove (we provide directions), this may not be the ideal property for you, and please DON'T book it.br4) We have a STRICT no pet policy. If we find out that you brought an animal, you will be charged an additional $1000 per animal. and your security deposit will be forfeited.br5) The vibe of the cabin is to provide a getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. For that reason, we do not have a TV, but our internet works great. In addition, we have refrained from installing bright LED lightbulbs, so the lighting gives off more of a quaint vibe than bright lights. Just a note, the ceiling fan has a dimmable light. Please DO NOT book this cabin if dim lighting is not your thing.brbrKitchen: The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the cookware and utensils you should need for cooking. There is also a toaster, electric kettle, magic bullet, and pour over coffee setup. We do not provide coffee or tea, but there usually is some olive oil, salt/pepper. So, please remember to bring whatever it is that you prefer to cook with or drink in the morning. Please note, there is no dishwasher or microwave. Also, a few of the dishes have some dings in them. If you are not ok eating out of a dish that may have a small chip in it, this place isn't for you. And, if any of the details above are not acceptable to you, please DO NOT book this cabin, and then complain about it afterwards.brbrLoft: The loft is an open space overlooking the living room and kitchen. It offers a queen bed, beautiful views of the trees, and great ceiling heights (tall people will definitely fit). Please be aware that access to the loft requires climbing a ladder, and has a wide opening at the top. If you are NOT OK with climbing the ladder (as clearly shown in the photos), please DO NOT book this cabin, and then complain about it in your review. We are completely up front about this, and it is quite frustrating when people don't pay attention to this, and then complain about it in their review. Children under the age of 12 ARE NOT allowed in the loft at any time.brbr2nd Bedroom: The 2nd bedroom offers twin sized bunk beds that were made with love by us. The views from this room look out at beautiful trees.brbrBathroom: To access the bathroom, you need to walk through the main level bedroom (the bedroom with the bunk beds). So, please keep this in mind in regards to your group dynamic. The bathroom shower is not fully enclosed with glass. There is a shower curtain that we highly recommend using in order to keep the water inside the shower area. If you choose not to use the shower curtain, know that water may get on the floor. There are plenty of shower mats on the shelf in the laundry room. It is helpful to keep the shower head pointed straight down, not outward. Again, if this is something that you are not comfortable with, please DO NOT book this cabin, and then complain about it in the review.brbrThere is a great deck with seating for you to enjoy the sun-drenched and cloudy days or for amazing star gazing at night.brbr**please note:br-No outdoor fires are permitted at any time.br-Please do not block the shared driveway with our neighbor. There is plenty of space in our driveway area for multiple cars.brOther things to notebr-Please be aware that access to the loft requires climbing a ladder, and has a wide opening at the top. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the loft at any time.brbr-We do not have a tv, radio, or any sort of electronics in the cabin, with the exception of Wifi.brbr-September-May: We will have firewood (and a hatchet) available, so you can get nice and cozy with the use of the use of the wood stove. Plenty of space for multiple families to get together and have privacy when needed. brbrThe kitchen comes fully stocked and ready to be used at your leisure.brbrOur cabin also features Gig internet! For a rural mountain home, it's unbelievable how great the wifi is. Our SmartTV comes with Netflix, however you are also able to log into any services that you may use. brbrSleep in with the quiet neighborhood of Timberline Rim. We also have access to the neighborhood tennis courts, basketball court, and pool (during the summer time). These facilities are shared with the neighborhood. Our Mt Hood Wine Country Lodge is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath luxury lodge with vaulted ceilings decorated in a Wine Country theme. The river sits extremely close to the home; it only takes a quick one minute walk. During the cooler months we have a beautiful mountain stream that runs directly behind the property. In the quietness of the the neighborhood you can hear the soothing sounds of the river. brbrIn September 2023 all the bedrooms and bathrooms were newly painted. Our home boasts: Air Conditioning, a large back deck with a hot tub and a fire pit set up for entertaining. The back deck includes 4 wicker chairs, an outdoor loveseat and a long wooden bench that runs the length of the deck. We have, as well, a second deck located off the front of the property with a propane BBQ and another long built-in bench for sitting. The neighborhood pool is accessible during the warm summer months. brbrOur master bedroom features a king size, 4 post bed fit for royalty. As well as a 39 LED TV with cable. The master has a sliding glass door that exits to the back deck, out to the hot tub. Attached, it features a full bathroom with a shower. The 2nd bedroom is furnished with a queen cherry wood sleigh bed. The 3rd bedroom, a smaller bunk room features a 3 person bunk bed (a twin on top & double/full bed for the bottom bunk). The great room features a stone backed wood stove, a 49'' LED TV, Wave cable, Wi-Fi (however sometimes spotty due to mountain availability) and a Blu-ray player. Plush furniture to include a sofa, love seat and recliner chair with a wall hanging, back lit, water feature. Our full kitchen is filled with all the amenities and appliances you would expect to have at home. (Honestly, our kitchen possess more kitchen tools than most and of better quality). The lodge has a washing machine and two clothes dryers for quicker loads of laundry. brbrGolfing is near by at The Resort at the Mountain, a premier 27 hole golf course that is just a 5 minute drive. This resort also boasts a lovely spa facility plus 2 eating establishments on site.
