MCA # 1271. Our place is a charming beach house with lots of wood features: oak floors, pine paneling and cedar cathedral ceilings with skylights. There are two private decks separated by a gazebo with a new (2022), luxurious hot tub that can easily accommodate five people. The side deck has a new grill perfect for barbecue. The back deck has recently been rebuilt and the back yard area, though small, is now fully fenced.brbrThe private, master bedroom has high ceilings and a new, king sized bed with new, excellent mattress and linens, and an adjoining (external) full bathroom. The second and third bedrooms are on the opposite side of the great room/dining room, making it easy for two families to share the house. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed with an Englander mattress (and internal bathroom) and the third bedroom has a trundle bed (two singles) each with very comfortable mattresses. Both the second and third bedrooms face out to the forest.brbrThe house is located at the south end of Manzanita, a quiet residential town with a few great restaurants and shops. We are only half block from one of the most spectacular secluded beaches on Oregon's North Coast. It is bordered on one end by Neahkahnie Mountain and on the other by a State Park. The beach ends in a spit and Nehalem Bay which creates a whole different water landscape than the mighty Pacific Ocean. Our comfortable home is perfect for a small family, three couples, a ladies' weekend or a romantic weekend for two. Our home is one and a half blocks from the ocean with direct beach access where you can stroll the magnificent seven mile beach. We also have a view of Neahkahnie Mountain looking north. Just walk across the street to tee off on picturesque Manzanita Golf Course, or bike to Nehalem State Park on one of our two bikes. Tennis, volleyball and playground are just a few blocks away at the City Park.brbrOur fully equipped kitchen/great room with vaulted ceiling, skylight and river rock fireplace is on the upper level looking out to the ocean. The great room is surrounded by full length windows for amazing views. Relax on our large deck off the great room with a good book while enjoying a grand ocean view. The master bedroom (queen bed) with a large walk-in closet has a private deck and full bath with skylight. Our additional guest bath is also on upper level. Don't let the simplicity of the exterior fool you, when you open the front door, one will find a beautiful quality craftsman home built by Sunco Homes in Salem Oregon.brbrThe 700 sq ft great room has a stacked stone fireplace capable of warming the entire room. The floors are white oak throughout the home. The dining area seats 10, custom granite counter tops with a bar that seats 4, a gourmet kitchen and wonderful pacific and mountain views await you. There is a corner window seat for reading or relaxing. Underneath the window seat you will find games, puzzles, and a small library of reading material above. The full stereo system has an ipod jack and speaker controls in every room. Cozey's also has two TV's , both with Rokus, one with cable. DVD player, cd player, and wireless internet. There is a charcoal bbq, a gas bbq, bicycles and kites to enjoy as well.brbrAn arched door separates the great room from the sleeping area so that those who wish to sleep can do so without being bothered by those who stay up late.brbrThe large master bedroom and bath include a Jacuzzi tub with a view of the Pacific or Neahkahnie Mountain. Double showers, double sinks with granite counters and a king size bed. Two back bedrooms contains queen size beds. They are connected to a Jack & Jill bathroom with double sinks and a door separating the shower and tub area. Bedroom number 4 has a king size bed. . All bedrooms have either built in or stand alone dresser drawers. There is one full size futon bed in the great room should you need additional room for sleeping.brbrThe bathrooms are designed so that the shower facilities can be closed off from the toilet facilities to offer dual use when necessary.
