The location and neighborhood are lovely. The house felt like staying at your son's frat house; a bit dirty, some broken things, but the couch was comfy and the TV worked. The kitchen was cleaner and nicer than a frat house, though.Housekeeping is less than attentive to detail. When I stripped the bedding at the end ofm my stay the mattress covers were obviously not recently cleaned. There was A LOT of hair clogging the tub drain upon arrival and trash on the floor of one of the bedrooms. The washer machine was broken, which was a blow to me as mother with 4 young kids. Meredith lodging knew it was broken on the Friday before my stay but didn't notify me until I called them after the 4 pm check in on Monday to ask if there was some secret to making it work. I would have packed more clothing if I was planning on zero laundry for my 3 night stay. If the owners put a bit of investment into this home it will be a lovely rental for years to come, but currently it is teetering on the edge of being a frat house dump.

1.The patio furniture is basically unusable. They’re old, dirty, faded, and likely uncomfortable (we chose not to sit on them or use the tables). The owner should spring for several new plastic Adirondack chairs (Home Depot – less than 20/each). 2.The BBQ is old and the cover was filthy with bird droppings including some on the porch near the front door. Not a good first impression. 3.A couple of the windows lacked screens while other were broken.4.We were unable to access the Spectrum/Charter cable services. When we got to their site all channels came up as “not available”. 5.The main bathroom door wouldn’t close nor lock.6.The doors on the laundry room were off their tracks.7.The closet door in the main bedroom wouldn’t close.8.The door to the upper ½ bath was difficult to open and close.9.We discovered numerous live spiders and what appeared to be carpet beetles along with other dead bugs. I would suggest the owner consider engaging a pest control company.10.Many of the kitchen pans need to be replaced. We improvised using other cookware but again, the owner should replace the items that have obviously passed their useful life.11.Kitchen carpets and entry carpet are significantly worn and should be replaced.

The location of this home was great. However, the house itself was both in need of some minor repairs and some serious housekeeping. The laundry door came off of its hinges as soon as we opened it, the bathroom door doesn't stay closed and we found cobwebs and bugs in corners of the floor.

We had a comfortable stay and the house was clean. The beds were comfortable and the house is well stocked. But there were a few things that needed some work. The bathroom door does not close. That makes for a challenging privacy problem. There was no coffee available (that seems weird to me) and coffee filters were hard to find. The hot water faucet in the bathroom makes a really loud sound after turning on for a few minutes. It wakes everyone up in the morning. The window in the downstairs double bed room would not close unless someone went out side and pushed hard. It was not locked when we arrived. Obviously a previous utilizer of this house had trouble with the window. Again, it was a good place to stay........

Instructions for 4 digit code did not specify an additional button to be used at end of code. Quality of accommodations would be fine at half the cost (maybe), but not for cost paid. Early check-in costs an additional 50, even if ready. Will not rent this property or use the property management company again.

The unit was spacious, tidy, and comfortable. An easy two or three block walk to the beach access. Easy though longer walk to downtown. Quiet neighborhood. Kitchen very well equipped. However, the internet was very slow, so don't plan on working from home. Though clean and tiddy, there were signs that regular maintenance was lacking, e.g., burned out porch and bathroom lights, dirty bathroom and heater grills, barely any hand soap left in kitchen.

Pros: - awesome location, quick walk to the beach and there’s a nice playground across the street - nice selection of kids toys, books, and dvds - Cute house overall Cons - I didn’t catch that there was no dishwasher listed in the amenities; there IS a dishwasher in the kitchen, but it is broken - laundry machine is unusable, requires that the user turn knobs that are seized up As much as we enjoyed the property, having TWO busted appliances is pretty egregious. I’ve stayed at a lot of coastal rentals over the years and never had that experience.

The perfect weekend getaway. The playground is right across the street, beach access is just a few minutes away and the area is super quiet. They even have some great toys for little travelers (18months). Just don’t forget to bring your own hairdryer. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Excellent location. Clean and comfortable home. Well stocked with children's toys and DVDs for rainy days. Communication was a bit off with the owner due to what we felt were VRBO's unclear policies. Would definitely rent again

We had a great stay at this property in Manzanita! The location is wonderful, just a few minutes walk from the beach. It's also great if you have young kids along due to the easy walk to the park that is just down the street. The house was a little dated and a lot of things were dusty, but it was comfortable and the perfect size for our group.
