If you need stores or supplies to replenish what you brought with you, Costco and Fred Meyer are in Warrenton - which is less than ten miles to the north. Astoria, Seaside and Cannon Beach all have a large selection of specialty stores - including bakeries and breweries - if there's something special you need.brbr Inside you'll find a big screen TV with a huge selection of DVD's along with a computer and WI-Fi to keep you connected. Outside, behind the large and spacious deck (which will keep you out of the wind) you'll find the 8th tee of the Highlands Golf Course in the backyard and if you're lucky, you'll see the local herd of elk.brbrThe fully equipped kitchen features a gas cook top with a new oven and microwave. A huge island provides plenty of prep space with room for your quality checkers to hang out nearby.brbrThe living room has a two story high vaulted ceiling and a gas fireplace makes it easy to relax when it's cool or cloudy outside. The large comfy couches and chairs will make it hard for you to get going once you settle into them.brbrThe bedrooms all feature brand new, high end mattresses with snug-as-a-bug bedding. The laundry room is equipped with a commercial duty washer and dryer.brbrThe two car garage has a pair of bicycles so you can go peddling and it offers full shelter when you are coming and going.brbrThis is a true two story house with a half-floor of steps required to get to the living level. In the kitchen, there is a large commercial Wolf range and big dining table located by a beach rock fireplace. Enjoy the large living room which is a perfect place to read a good book by the fireplace or sit and chat with friends and family. Our beach themed bedroom with a queen size bed and full size bathroom is located downstairs. Gorgeous wood paneled walls/ceiling and wood beams bring such a cozy cabin type feel! brbrUpstairs, there is a large and comfortable family/TV/Game room which has built in cabinets filled with games and puzzles and a large flat screen TV. There is a full selection of family movies and cable television available for your use. All beds and linens are comfortable and high quality. Two different beaches are within close walking proximity of the home: Gearhart Beach is the large main beach offering beautiful sand dunes and crashing waves. Dog friendly (we allow 2 dogs max, with advance pre-approval only) and great for remote work and school, with internet speed of 100 MB per second.brbrABOUT THE SPACE:brThis 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is over 100 years old and has the bright, beachy feel of a classic Cape Cod cottage. Tastefully appointed throughout, it comfortably sleeps 8 and is the perfect getaway for family and friends to enjoy all the Oregon coast has to offer. The large grassy yard, back deck, Adirondack chairs, and quaint setting offer the perfect place for relaxing, wave-watching, and star-gazing.brbrThe downstairs features an expansive living room with plenty of space for everyone to curl up comfortably and enjoy movie nights or conversation around the fireplace. The first level also has a spacious open kitchen and dining area that seats eight. The fully equipped kitchen comes complete with a Jenn-Air gas stove with griddle attachment, dishwasher, microwave, and all the accouterments to prepare a host of memorable meals. All essential toiletries are stocked, so no need to bring shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, Q-Tips, or cotton pads.
