AMAZING VIEW + UNEQUALED COMFORT = THE PERFECT RETREAT

This place is amazing! It’s big, gorgeous, comfy furniture, and has plenty of everything (linens, dishes, cookware, serving dishes, outdoor space)!!! Gorgeous ocean view with close beach access. Walkable to McMenamins for golf, food, or shenanigans. Right on the Highlands golf course. Just perfect in every single way. Excellent communication with host.

This is a beautiful house, well-furnished, and perfect for gathering friends & family. We were grateful that it is pet-friendly and we could bring our 2 senior dogs. Everything was very clean, and the ease of access to the beach was exceptional! We enjoyed the outdoor seating, listening to the many types of birds -- and the living room was perfect for evening games and conversation. Would highly recommend this house!

The house had everything our family needed for a great extended stay. Comfortable beds, lots of room, including playroom for grand kids. The kitchen was very well equipped, a cooks kitchen. Lots of extra touches, great art work & decorations, games & puzzles. Located between Seaside & Warrenton/Astoria many options for restaurants & a Costco. Very quiet neighborhood. There are stairs to navigate access to the house. Short walk to the beach. Overall a perfect stay on the Coast.

Bonnie was a great host and this Gearhart property was fantastic - clean, quiet, roomy, comfy beds & furniture, well equipped, and with a fantastic view and nice trail or boardwalk to an awesome beach! Gearhart McMenamins and King Tides Bakery are short drives and more stores in Seaside (about 3 miles away).

This proprty is well appointed and beautiful inside and out. With sweeping ocean views and comfortable living spaces, it is a perfect location for a family vacation or holiday celebration. The kitchen is amply equipped for multiple cooks at the same time. We were able to prepare several dishes for our Thanksgiving celebration. Wonderful accommodations!

Group of friends for an annual gathering. All the rooms were comfortable, the living space was perfect for socializing, dining area accommodating, kitchen also well-appointed and large enough for a few of us to be working at the same time. Owner responded promptly to all messages and was as flexible as could be. Beautiful setting! So quiet and great access to the beach for walking.

Fully furnished, nice amenities, great location

This is a very beautiful home in a gated community. Lots of room for all family members to have their own space. The front porch was the place to be to see the wonderful sunsets. Great location to multiple towns for excursions and food and a great place to return to wind down.

We went with our kids and grandchildren for 5 days. House was very well maintained and clean. Beautiful home and such a nice quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay and the house was well stocked with supplies.

Second time at this location and all of the family members were impressed (4 brothers and 3 wives). The updated (since first visit) two main bedrooms was very impressive and made stay even more enjoyable. The location works well for visiting nearby cities and provides an enjoyable stay at the beach. Yes, we did see elk and will plan to return again.

This stay was our third scheduled visit at this property and it never disappoints. In spite of catching cool and rainy late summer days we had a lovely visit. This was our first trip with grandchildren, so for the first time enjoyed having the playroom plus toys on the second level. The well stocked kitchen tools plus appliances made meal preparations fun, so dining out with infants easily managed. We all look forward to another visit.

We look forward to staying at this property every year - location and house is exceptional. Huge windows with views from both levels - looking directly through the beachgrass to the ocean. Our family had a great time - cooking together, grilling on the back patio, happy hour on the front deck, and gathering for dinner after long days at the beach & beach towns. Guys golfed, while the girls did yoga & walked the surrounding paths. Nicely maintained accommodations with improvements to the main floor bathroom showers. Very comfortable spaces. Will be back!

We stayed in this beautiful home for an entired month. It was absolutely perfect for myself, my husband and our three little boys. My parents came to visit for a few days, then my cousins and then soms friends. It was so relaxing; I slept better than I ever do!

This by far was the best beach home stay that our family has experienced on the Oregon coast. Every detail is thoughtfully provided. The views out over the grasslands to the ocean, the Highlands neighborhood, the elk in the evening—all just add up to a wonderful time for our multi-generational family. There is even a complete toy room for our little one! The adults enjoyed a round of golf at the Highlands course and pickleball at the tennis courts. This is an exceptional house and location.

This was one of the best houses I have ever stayed at. From the location and the layout to the thoughtful touches- everything about the property was wonderful.

The place was fantastic. Everyone that was there wants to return next year. Kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, and beds were great and outdoor furniture is very high quality.We love the place.

This home is beautiful and close to the beach. The view is stunning! Close to the DelRey beach access and clamming was great while we were there. Can’t wait to come back.

Nestled in Gearhart's gated community with views of the ocean and minutes from the beach. The house is well appointed for cooking and hosting. Spacious living area to relax, play games and all be together. We have two small grandkids that loved the playroom and accompanied toy assortment. Each person in our family gave it an A. We can not wait to return.

We had a great time here. We took walks to the beach, explored Astoria and read books by the huge windows as the sun went down. So much fun.

This is our 2nd time here. We will be back again!

Every Christmas our family rents a vacation home. We loved this home for its location ...walking distance to the beach and a quiet neighborhood. The Christmas tree and other decorations added a festive feel. Our family loves playing games and putting together jigsaw puzzles and the table right next to the large windows with an ocean view was a great location for such activities. Our dog had a great time running on the beach. A great home for the three generations of family who celebrated Christmas here. Thank you!

Family Thanksgiving weekend. Great location and lovely home. Enough room to spread out with a large kitchen and family room to all be together. Beds are very comfy too!

To clarify scoring: cleanliness was good, there was just a tiny snafu with a couple rooms. The host resolved it quickly and our trip wasn't affected whatsoever. Well appointed kitchen, great space to hang, play games and eat. Wonderful access to the beach for long walks. Beautiful art work! Look forward to staying there again.

Bonnie (the owner) is great. Her communication was outstanding and set the stage for a fabulous experience. The home was so much more than we expected from the photos - they really don't do it justice. The layout was perfect for our extended family, with plenty of space to be together and play games, cook, eat, and watch movies. And the VIEWS! So much better than in the photos :) The walk to the beach is easy across the dunes, and the beach is lovely, even at high tide. We were delighted with how well-equipped the home was, including so many little unexpected touches, particularly in the bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed. Can't recommend this home enough!

Bonnie is a fantastic host, the house was incredible - just as shown and described, and everyone in our party can’t wait to go back!

We all absolutely loved this house. The house itself was so cute and nice, the view was perfect and the ammenities were outstanding. Owners were so easy to communicate with. We stay in a lot of rentals and this has to be the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen. Every type of pan, dish, spice, tool you could possibility need. Only thing we didn't see was an oyster knife so we left one there! 100% recommend this house.

The house was clean, well laid out, and in a quiet neighborhood with a walking trail to the beach and a 9 -hole golf course that was easy to walk and very inexpensive to play. We would definitely rent again when in the area.
