(See pictures.)brbrWI-FIbrThere is excellent Wi-Fi but no TV, so plan to relax, read or take your coffee out to sit on one of the decks to enjoy the breathtaking views; from there you can see dozens of rocky outcroppings, large sea stacks and sandy beaches all along the coast.brbrBEACH ACCESSbrWe're located on a cliff directly above the beach with no current access down the side of the cliff to the beach below, but it is just a two minute drive to beach-level parking on North Harris Beach at Harris Beach State Park.brbrSOUTH HARRIS BEACHbrSouth Harris Beach, which is one of the best ocean beaches on the Oregon coast, is even closer; it is just a ten minute walk or a one minute drive to get there. Plenty of seating with two full sofas, nicely stocked kitchen with indoor and outdoor drink and dinnerware, crab utensils, blender, crockpot, and even tippy cups for the toddlers. There's even Margarita, Martini, and Wine glasses. We tried to think of everything. Wi-fi and work station. 3 Smart TV's also with basic cable. 3 Bdrms, one King, one Queen bed. 3rd bdrm has a sofa bed with tv and shelf below so the kids can sit and enjoy their game console (not provided) while you enjoy the hot tub. There is a 2-car garage to help make unloading easy. The garage also has a small layout for a versitile game area with a ping pong table. brOur beautiful home sits on a cliff 80 feet above the shoreline. At low tide there are many rocks and a large beach. But even at high tide Pelican Rock stands above the water. There is no direct access to the beach from the house but it is only 9 tenths of a mile to Sport Heaven Beach, about a 20 minute walk or a short drive. Sport Heaven Beach has miles of sandy beach and there are many other beautiful beaches in the area. The house is 4 miles from the center of Brookings and 1 mile to the Harbor. At the harbor there are great restaurants, fishing charters and a great boardwalk overlooking the boats.brCome and enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets. brWe have lived in Brookings for three years now and love it year round. We live in our home just 4 miles away with our three small dogs. We hope to see you soon.brPlease no trailers. And it almost never has people on it because you have to walk down the side of a cliff on a paved path to get to it, and because very few tourists know about it.brbrLONE RANCH BEACHbrLone Ranch Beach with lots of tide pools with starfish and other sea life is a four minute drive north.brbrHARBOR BEACHbrThe magnificent driftwood covered beach at the harbor is just five minutes south.brbrSECRET BEACHbrSecret Beach is wild and scenic and it's just a quick 10 or 12 minute drive north on US Highway 101.brbrWHALE WATCHINGbrResident gray whales can be seen all year but they are more frequently spotted in the summer and fall when they feed closer to shore. We also have thousands more migrating whales along the Oregon coast every year, going south, between mid-December & mid-January and they start returning up the Oregon toward to Alaska every year in between late March and June.brbrREDWOOD NATURE TRAILbrWalking under the canopy of a redwood forest is like being in a natural cathedral. The mile long and quite walkable Redwood Nature Trail is just 9 miles away. And world famous Jedediah Smith Redwoods Park is just 22 miles south on US Highway 101.brbrWILD RIVERSbrThe Chetco River, with some of the best salmon runs in the world plus a lot of trout and steelhead, runs right through Brookings.
